Well, I just got back from seeing this. . .
My favorite comic book movie in a long time. I liked it better than Logan. Possibly beats out Spidey 2 as my favorite Spider-Man film, and it's probably my favorite Marvel Studios-involved film, though that could change if I give it some breathing space. Spidey and the X-Men were always my favorite Marvel comics, and as a life-long Spidey fan, everything was so great. I think this is the best Peter Parker we've had, Spidey was handled as well as he's been handled, we got straight to the meat without the origin story weighing things down again, terrific villain, teens I liked and could relate to (I was on the quiz team in high school), good humor, really good action, Stark was used very well and not overdone as I feared he would be, story played out very nicely and wasn't overly convoluted or misguided as we've seen with previous Spidey films. And most importantly, the mother****ing English Beat was on the soundtrack. 9/10
