Well when you roast a movie don't LOOK like you're trying to roast a movie. I don't know, post casual.

All 90% of you have to do is just what you're already doing. Threadcrapping and trolling just isn't something that most people do which is why most of you guys aren't complaining about it. Pretty much everybody hated Kong: Skull Island and so that thread was predominantly negative reviews. But Maulfan still got to say his piece about what he liked without being mocked or having his posts ridiculed. So no thread has to be all sunshine and roses which I've said time and time again. No thread *is* sunshine and roses, not this one, not Rogue One or even the beloved Logan. But obviously there are those who want free reign to just flat out troll threads for their own amusement and rather than maturely saying "my bad, this site isn't just about me" and toning down their behavior they want to play victim and act like I'm just picking and choosing favorites, deleting opinions left and right that I disagree with, which of course is all nonsense. If you're going to turn deaf ears to "feel free to be negative, just do so with respect for those you're talking to" then so be it.

I literally typed entire paragraphs where I called out DiFabio for the positive contributions he makes to the board *when he chooses to* and yet all he hears is that I'm abusing my power or that I have it in for him or whatever.



Just ask yourself why you're joking. If the answer is "to piss people off" or to kill the enthusiasm of others then you shouldn't do it. If your joke is for pretty much *any other reason* then I say go for it. The less chronic of an abuser you are the longer leash you'll get but some people have proven time and time again that they need to be reigned in since they won't do it themselves.

Anyway, back to Spider-Man or Speed or whatever. Most of you didn't need to hear any of this but for those that did now you get to decide for yourself how you want to go from here.

jye posts negative opinions about movies all the time (yes including ones that I love, lol) and often in comedic fashion but he's no troll, very few of you are. And for those who ARE trolls even they aren't trolls all the time, like I've said before these threads have room for everyone and all ranges of opinions. But it looks like some people's egos simply won't allow them to curb their own behavior when it comes to treating others with courtesy and respect. That's all it comes down to.

I'm not sure. It doesn't open in Japan until August 11th

Japan isn't much of a factor but I know previous Spiderman films have done huge business in China, if it releases there then it should pass the Amazing Spiderman films without a problem.

Problem is it should have blown those films away. This isn't even the first movie Spiderman has shown up in in the MCU. Civil War gave him huge exposure, then he shares a movie with Iron Man after that, something is just not clicking with this new Spiderman.

Speaking of which. What are the chances Spider-Man: Homecoming surpasses Wonder Woman's box office overall once all the numbers come in domestic and internationally? Jye? You're an expert on this stuff, what say you.

Fox released the best Superhero movie of the year by far! Sony should have made a deal to share Spidey with Fox.
