From what I've read; the Sony/Marvel deal is good and plans are moving forward for Sony/Marvel Spider-Man 2. Take it for what it's worth.

IMO Sony would be stupid to back out of a good thing despite all the naysayers.

Just so they can **** up spiderman again? I don't want them touching the franchise again . They are the reason this is happening. Had they let the franchise rest we'd have tobey in the mcu but nope.

Sony is a dying studio desperate for a hit. Spider-Man has a damaged rep, hell people didn't want Peter Parker as Spider-Man when this reboot was announced and wanted that ****ing miles character. That's unacceptable. They need this deal. They proved they can't do things on there own.

You're right, Sony definitely needs a hit.

While I don't have a problem with Miles Morales; give it some time and rebuild the franchise then bring Morales in if necessary.

I'm sure he's a great character and all but people seem love him cause of his skin color and not for who he is or his story. People just say " yea black spiderman" . He's no different from Spider-Man 2099 or scarlet spider. Nothing really stands out about him story wise except he is a replacement. Imo. I tried researching the character

Biggest problem with the High Tech Spider-Man suit; is where do you take Iron Spider in Infinity War that is distinctive and different?

I agree. Morales is not much different than and other character in the Spider-verse.

WW will make more than this film- look at the numbers - domestically it's fizzled out from a less than spectacular opening week. Too bad as I really enjoyed it and Holland is perfect as Spidey

I don't think Feige has any reason to be embarrassed. It's Sony's own fault for the situation they're in.
