Re: OFFICIAL: Marvel Studios Spider-Man

Should they try to get J K Simmons back for the role of JJJ..Hell Yes!
Can they afford too that's the question

Re: OFFICIAL: Marvel Studios Spider-Man

Marvel Studios/Disney isn't actually hurting for cash. The question is whether they want to use Simmons again given his obvious tie to the first Raimi outing and this being a "reboot"

You're stock goes up when you win an Oscar and agents get more greedy unfortunately . Not to mention the actor becomes more in demand for projects, not saying he wasn't before the win.

Farmer's Insurance probably can't get him for future endorsements now :lol

Re: OFFICIAL: Marvel Studios Spider-Man

Actors will often get exposure due to a given role, and then they'll be back where they started within a year. Remember when Halle Berry won the Oscar? Now she's thrilled to get offered a cameo role in an X-Men film.

Re: OFFICIAL: Marvel Studios Spider-Man

I wouldn't throw out the possibility of Simmons returning just because he won an Oscar. If he enjoyed the role (which sounded like he did) and it doesn't require too much of his time, combined with the exposure from a Marvel movie, he may just do it for cheaps. Marvel's managed to land Anthony Hopkins and Glenn Close for supporting roles, both of whom have had plenty of nods from the Academy and Hopkins even winning back in '92, and we know Marvel Studios can be stingy on payroll (unless your initials are RDJ), so could still happen with Simmons.

I personally don't mind the lack of continuity, having Simmons would be a nice nod to the Raimi trilogy and let's face it, he's iconic in that role.

OFFICIAL: Marvel Studios Spider-Man

:lol if Miles is brought into the MCU, my Ultimate Fall-Out #4 and Ultimate Comics: Spiderman #1 will be a whole lot more valuable :lol :lol :lol

Re: OFFICIAL: Marvel Studios Spider-Man

Whatever race Black Peter Parker ends up being, I would like Ice Cube to play Uncle Ben.
