Forgot to mention that the Celestials made the Eternals. So they made a deaf girl? And another that has bad memories, yet they can make galaxies? I guess the Celestials were first in diversity training.

Just got back and I loved it!!!!!!

sike. But I gotcha didn’t I . Patiently waiting for no way home

OK, I didn't read Matticus's spoilery synopsis but by all indications it was not a positive review. I still plan on seeing the movie as I now feel it's a no-lose scenario. Either it's good and I have an enjoyable viewing experience, or it's bad and Matticus and I will finally agree on something here. :rotfl

Come on, you've never worked with a hangover? Easily explained! :)

Well that is definitely the type of thing that region of the world likes to see in their movies. Oh wait...
Eternals directors cut just announced with new extended scene of gay eternal punching the prophet Muhammad and eating a cow in India!

I was watching and was like this black guy is with a Middle Eastern guy? That was a new one for me. I guess Chloe Zhao has seen some things lol.

What did the movie say they were doing during Infinity War?
They only interfere when deviants are involved. Like the Prime Directive in Star Trek, don't get involved and let them naturally evolve. But a couple did in other ways.

So are they not functioning members of society in any way then? Don't they have day jobs? Isn't that "getting involved?"

"Hey can you reach that jar from the shelf?"

"Did a deviant put it up there? Then sorry no, I swore an oath..."

Yeah I know
Phastos I cant remember but might be a teacher and or just taking care of a kid w the other dude. Sersi is a teacher. Phastos had a hand in creating a nuke in some manner and felt at fault for Hiroshima. Phastos was last in a long line of reintroductions and I skipped through some of his crap. Ikaris flew away for awhile, Sprite just lived w Sersi and in vain of humanity. Thena and Gilgamesh secluded in the desert. Makkari stayed on the Domo spacecraft. Druid hated humanities conflict and controlled and or hung out in some village in South America.

What was odd was that the deviant leader who absorbed the Eternals aka killed them, he saw through the celestials crap and wanted to end them too. But then he was off'd by Thena as vengence for Gilgamesha death. Was like he was the good guy now but death. Again, too many characters.
