If Ant-Man can beat Kang, then there’s no threat from Kang.
Phase Four strikes again...So our local movie reviewer -- who likes everything -- did not like this movie. Really strange, might be the first time I've seen him negative on something. He loves the MCU and Star Trek too.
Face it, whether you like your initial and singular experience with this movie, it is sounding like its just not a very good movie.
Phase 5, now.Phase Four strikes again...
Gosh, it’s so obvious when you put it that way. How did I not realize it during my viewing experience? So our local movie reviewer -- who likes everything -- did not like this movie. Really strange, might be the first time I've seen him negative on something. He loves the MCU and Star Trek too.

Saw this last night, saw it again today with my kids, makes it easy to pay attention on stuff I missed, but after knowing the ending and focusing on what this version of Kang talks to antman about, It kind of clicked that:When he was banished/stranded in the QR they disabled his ship’s power source, and without that he didn’t have access to his suit, his tech or (I think) his ability to know what would happen in that time stream. Janet unwittingly helped him fix it, but before they were going to leave the QR the ship gave her a glimpse at who he really was and what he’d done (& likely continue to do - destroy timelines and kill trillions). She sabotaged the ship’s power source again to keep him there, but he already got his suit & most of his powers back so he was able to conquer & terrorize the QR.
Phase 5, now.
I was thinking that this might be the case, but this version of KangSaw this last night, saw it again today with my kids, makes it easy to pay attention on stuff I missed, but after knowing the ending and focusing on what this version of Kang talks to antman about, It kind of clicked that:
The Kang Dynasty are the bad guys messing up the timeline and the one that disappeared is probably Mr. Timely. I really feel He who remains' journey started when that Kang was banished and he is the one they all feared for that reason! the realm he created in the quantum zone is similar to the TVA, he was defeated by ants for sure but given how he disappeared into his time machine I feel he never really died and that's the one version we see at the the citadel of the end of time. It literally clicked after focusing more on how he speaks of his exile and how the other kangs react to him so iddk. I can see it. hence why we see Loki with mobius in 1901 looking for this anomaly.... maybe. he did say he doesn't live a linear path.
I was thinking that this might be the case, but this version of Kang
has scars while he who remains at the end of Loki did not. But the city here does indeed look so much like the TVA and it does seem like he wants to destroy universes just to prevent other Kangs from rising.
The TVA Kang is just as bad as this one when you think about the trillions he erases from existence whenever there is a "Nexus Event".
Yes. Specifically, Wakanda Forever ended Phase 4, and Quantumania begins Phase 5.Is it officially 5 now? With this movie?
I love majors as an actor but i read somewhere else that they felt the ending was a skit of SNL, you had Thanos beating Thor and Loki in Infinity war then we have ant man vs the exile.Straight out of this and my initial reaction is very on the fence. Rudd is as good as always, Pfeiffer gets something a bit meatier and Majors is tremendous, and that is impressive given the background of the character and the lack of individual focused menace that Thanos had. There is nothing remotely original about it and tbh I think I’m finally (took longer than most lol) losing interest in the MCU, it’s just becoming all so bland and similar and there is a major lack of diversity in the stories they are telling. I can only take so many energy blasting gauntlet fights. It feels too much like a Guardians film at times.
He was way worse than bad already in Loki...I think your issue is more with the writing/directing than the actor himself, he’s a really good actor, but they can really only do what they’re told to do under the Mouses iron fist.
His acting was great in Loki, you just didn't like the character. He was way worse than bad already in Loki...
Nope, he was just truly awful, like Pedro Pascal in Wonder Woman. You can like him though, it's okHis acting was great in Loki, you just didn't like the character.
I think you're just unable to distinguish acting from directing/writing. They nailed what they were given, you just didn't like that direction for their characters.Nope, he was just truly awful, like Pedro Pascal in Wonder Woman. You can like him though, it's ok
