All asians eat cats, dogs, gamble, smoke heavy, are great at fighting games and starcraft.

At least that's what I tease my half asian wife with.

I don't think that's what she saying at least how I read what's been reported in this thread. It's that only Asians should be allowed to do martial arts in entertainment.

So maybe you've got it the other way around- is it racist to think that ONLY Asians can do martial arts in entertainment? Or phrased differently, is it racist to think that non-Asians CAN'T do martial arts in entertainment?

Go read her tweets (if they didnt get deleted ) . She was saying only asians should do those roles
She was being generalizing and racist by accident to her own race lol.
She spent alll night arguing with people defending the casting and people saying anyone of any race can practice martial arts

take it an ethnic step further- should only Thai people do Muay Tai? Should only Korenans do tae Kwon do?

Wonder what she'd say to that.

Impugning her motives does not address the issue she raises. People advocate for unpopular positions all the time from a variety of motivations. And just because what she wrote *got* a lot of attention doesn't mean she was *seeking* a lot of attention. Admittedly, my knowledge of what she allegedly wrote is confined to the last page or two of this thread.

If you actually address her argument, you may change her mind. Or at least give her something new to think about. Or she may change yours after an exchange or two. Or you can just ignore her.

Im just talking about what i saw. There were at least 100 people arguing against her point and then she started to blame everyone of racism for disagreeing with her and of white fragility. Everyone else is wrong, no wonder you side with her :lol

isn't it racist to think all asians do karate and kung fu? It's not even white washing the character. The dude is white right?

Well, she wanted attention. And she's got it. Sad.

Lots of truth to "Don't feed the trolls". You can't please everyone. Some celebs like to consistently get into it with the morons on twitter.

Haha I didn't even read the interview but just saw the link and posted it here. Damn, that's how MCU exchange is painting the whole thing?

It is definitely bias and apologetic. People in the comments are mentioning how weird her position is and the writer of the article is arguing to stop "negative opinions"lol
