I bet he's like Killmonger, an MIT graduate, and a US Millitary High Ranking Official at 19! Y'know, the average African-American.

and you believed him? :lol

Yes?

I think the writers knew how Black Panther was going to be received - referring to the parallels of T'Challa and xenophobia - so in a preemptive attack against those parallels, they wrote in BP's repudiation of previous king's ideologies. Right?

Whippipo need to be BARKED at!

>bark at people
>me superior melanin-enriched supergenius

I genuinely hope these people don't exist. That's it's just clickbait. Otherwise, well, there's only one solution.

But after reading the comments, I genuinely weep for humanity. Their ******* idol (whose books they've never read; bar maybe Hudlin's KANGZ-Saga) would slap them and throw them of the YUGE Wakandan walls.

this feels like a subtle troll.
I know is not but... come on...

you are gonna have a bunch of people barking in the street and being recorded..... come on... .:lol

i hope it happens

Why stop there? Maybe BP fans in search of promotions at work can go openly challenge their bosses to life or death duels and see how that works out for them. ;)

>challenge ****** to duel
>fat-*** boss gives you one in the nuts
>****** BE OPRESSING MUH BBC!
...I can see it.

>he wuz a good boy
>he on hiz way to church
>he wuz be turning hiz life around
>he be watching black science man

PS: Reading more of the comments on that article, it really amazes me how they can both hate white women, and at the same time want to "smash that cracker ***" with "their Bee-Bee-Cee". Truly astounding...

Guy writes for GQ too, I think. He's a true Alpha though. He cucks the ******, smashes the pasty ***, produces another mutt-Kang, then goes home to his Kween and produces ten more pure-blood Kangz!

>the world will be brown by 2222
>and it's beautiful
I LITERALLY cannot wait! My Bull can't come soon enough!

no, definitely not at all. you DONT get to call a white character a COLONIZER and bark at him and you dont get to KILL the character that is talking about opening Wakanda and then brush ALL that away with a stupid Counsel scene.
that scene at the end felt like tacked on in order to not make people question what they just saw, like you are doing. Besides this is a marvel movie that needs to connect to Avengers.

do you honestly think Wakanda is going to allow whites or Asians to live there? to go on vacation? Wakanda might open trades with the world or might donate money or Vibranium.... but they sure as HELL wont take their walls down... thats ridiculous. The whole point of killing the bad guy was to assure the future of Wakanda

Who has escaped a wakandan prison in any marvel movie?

Killmongers whole plan was carefully plotted out. It relied on the "crown" not knowing of his existence. With him working with Klaw. Sneaking into wakanda using his father's map. Usurping T'challa. Trying to start a war.

He'd never get any free reign ever again if he lived. He knew that. Whether in prison or not, he'd lost his support. They would try to force him to conform or be "fixed". He had his shot but T'challa came back. It was a great death imo. Hands down one of the more memorable and I hope he stays dead because I loved his last moment and thought it was better than guys who have change of hearts like Loki or vulture.

It wouldn't be very difficult to dream up a scenario where any of these scenarios takes place. Lest we forget, these are over-the-top comic book movies. Not cinema verite.

Well of course, but to say the ending of killmonger doesn't work because none of those dreamed up things happened isn't really grounds for criticism.

I love how T'Challa delegated his new found humanitarian convictions at the end. "Yep, we're gonna help the world become a better place. Sis, you live and work in the slums of Oakland now, bye!" *flies back to his golden palace*

I say it violates the internal logic of the Marvel Universe. Loki finds his way out of a ridiculous prison situation, Bucky gets busted out of a ridiculous prison situation in Civil War by Baron Zemo, and various other heroes also get broken out of the Raft, which is supposedly impenetrable, even in this film, a guy gets busted out of joint CIA/Wakandan custody earlier on. So, the idea that an incredibly resourceful and wily super villain gives up hope of ever being free, based on the prospect of being imprisoned is pretty silly IMO.

Saw this again today. Makes me angry Coogler isn't doing Creed 2. Dude's talented as ****.

I've got no horse in the race, so I don't have a stance on the issue. I guess what I'm trying to say is that to those who would use BP as a political tool to advance this 'America First' nationalism, it would be met with a, "Yeah but he reversed it at the end. He scolded his father and said 'No more!' Then at the council, he vowed to open the 'walls' and accept refugees, etc."

Yeah T'Challa basically turned to the camera at the end and gave a Hillary Clinton slogan as the "moral" of the story.

Because if a king, a panther, can learn the value of illegal aliens maybe we can too. :rolleyes2

Um, I think you mean UNDOCUMENTED aliens! :lol

Coogler's already said it, the message of BP is that you should craft your own destiny and not allow it to be crafted for you. T'Challa was ready to be a repeat of his father until Killmonger opened his eyes. Now, T'Challa can be a better king than T'Chaka. One that isn't afraid to explore non-traditional routes in his rule.

That's why Killmonger was so important to T'Challa's development. He was both his greatest foe and greatest inspiration.

the tone of my reply is not towards you either lol. but the movie wants to have its cake, and eat it too.

The ONLY reason Wakanda prospered and became such a incredible place was due to Trump like Policies. the only reason they are as technologically advanced and powerful is due to extremely strict immigration policies and their sense of nationalism.
Wakanda proves to anyone that in order to succeed you need a Homogeneous society like Japan (Which Ironically Japan IS as advanced as Wakanda in real life... Japan is kind of like the real life Wakanda with their strict immigration and technological advancement)

So thats what the movie tells us about the prosperity of the country and how they never got "COLONIZED"

but then at the end they want to have their cake and eat it too by telling us that Even though opening the borders can hurt Wakanda in the long run, it is the "Right thing to do"
even though the only reason Wakanda even exists is because of their isolation, they must open up their country to others and become part of the same world that would have HURT them 100 years ago..... the same world with Terrorists like the Mandarin or threats like Ultron or villains like Loki.....

okay movie, yeah.... what a beautiful ending. lets open the doors to all kinds of external problems like sickness and terror attacks and famine that Wakanda never had before....Because we all know that the Villains of this universe wont have a lot of motives to now attack Wakanda and Invade it.
BRAVO movie BRAVO
