ready player one had some of the best 3d ive ever seen. things are really flying in your face. since they were inside a video game they were able to do stuff that didnt look fake or didnt feel fake. the race from the trailer that they showed with kong was really jaw dropping. I think your boy would lose his mind in that race, because me as a grown up i was like OH MY GOOOOD At seeing what was going on in the race with the T Rex and kong. it was so incredibly well done that i want to watch it again in 3d and i never watch movies in 3d twice

then when they go into the horror part of the game, that 3D was also amazing, someone next to me actually jumped at some parts (It wasn't scary it wasnt like super scary or anything but it was very fast paced.) that horror part is one of my favorite scenes of any movie.

the final battle is where it becomes like Rogger Rabbit but a cool version of that. Gundam is again, jaw dropping amazingly done. the godzilla part had people almost cheering in the theater.
this movie is a visual treat from beginning to end. the great action scenes, the character cameos. the cgi.

seriously let your boy watch this in 3D he will thank you forever lol

Jesus that sounds incredible lol

That’s it hitting the Imax during a school night that will be fine.

Crows makes it sound so damn geeky I love it already lol

Wait what horror part what’s that about. Nah don’t tell me my son will be fine.

The CGI 1933 Kong absolutely confirmed that Peter Jackson made a mistake in having him look like just a regular over-sized gorilla.

Don't let anyone spoil the horror sequence! My son is 8 and handled it just fine.

well the part in the horror section that i was talking about is that a cgi character swings a weapon at the heroes and someone next to me jumped at it in an excited manner, like "WOW!" lol it was more like a suprise

the horror part is not that scary because the movie they based it on is not that scary. i doubt your son would get scared by the original movie lol.

the scene is not scary on itself, but they are inside the set of the horror movie, so it is hard to explain, the characters are looking for the keys like they show in the trailers but that whole thing is funny actually. theres more humor than anything horror.
it is just that the 3D in that scene is amazing.

I dont think Jye's boy would get scared. it is really cool. really amazing. I am 100% sure Jye and his family will love this movie, this is classic Spielberg. you do feel like a kid in a Universal Theme park ride.

A lot of the scenes of this movie made me think of their theme park rides. Spielberg made the movie in a way that it could easily be translated into a simulator ride.
it was that great for me.

I really wish someone took the Race part and made it a VR experience at home. I dont think i have been that entertained as with that racing scene.

Ok cool ty :duff

It’s still playing at my Imax now to let the wife know we’re going to the movies on a school night lol

Yeah horror part isn't bad at all. Some of humor will divert it away for the young but really give it a fresh take for adults

I suppose I'll go for the final kill on Jye - RPO 3D > JP 3D

Damn that’s a tall order lol
