Also comparing to Batman begins is still fairly high praise... unless she thinks BB and X1 are on the same level.

I heard people comparing it more to ant man or dr strange on the entertainment front.

Yup, and yup. Knowing how you were speculating before I don’t feel you’ll be too happy with it. Killmonger was what I was looking forward to the most myself.

I guess we go in for the visuals alone.

Yeah it’s nothing world changing or even rock the boating. Fairly generic by the numbers blockbuster that wouldn’t have nearly the hype if not the crazy age we live in. I also find his suit power really lame, BP is not ‘good enough’ without additional help.

Good on you dude, I did the same. I just watched ragnarok last week tho and it wasn’t bad, solidly entertaining though too much humour, especially during some very serious scenes.

I went back and caught the BRs myself, and yeah, Ragnarok was the best of them (WW, GotG 2, Kingsman), but it still wasn't all that great. JL I still haven't seen and... I don't think I'll be doing so soon...
