Well, Iron Man got a lot of screen time this time, why not replace him?
because then 3/4ths of the people who saw Avengers 1 wouldn't care to see Avengers 2.

Even though Hurt Locker was gaining steam at the time, Renner received a mere six-figures for Avengers (he also did a cameo in Thor), but will get more if Marvel exercises its option to star him in up to six other films.
quoted for truth, (aka hawkeyeI agree. Keep the main four and then have revolving members in the #5 and #6 spots. Either Vision and Scarlet Witch or Ant-Man and Wasp would be good for me for A2. Superheroes in black jumpsuits that don't do anything special is so 12 years ago.
I know you love the actor playing Hawkeye, but there are other characters that deserve the spot more, more interesting cool characters, is like Of Course I love Black Widow, eye candy, but again, Ant Man should have been in the first Avengers, he was a founding member

Ant man can control ants and other insects , yes, but he can become Ant size or grow really big, and he can make other things shrink or grow as well
But not everyone follows the comics and also....think about it, Ant Man. Do you think people will accept that? It sounds too....60s.
As for the "black jumpsuit". I doubt very much you'll see Black Panther in a mask with ears and a cape.
If this is really what Antman does, I vote him to be the stupidest super hero ever created.Ant man can control ants and other insects , yes, but he can become Ant size or grow really big, and he can make other things shrink or grow as well

From what I've been reading, it's quite possible that even some of the core members won't be back for the next one, so.......I guess will just have to wait and see who makes the cut and who's added.
I like the idea of keeping a core team of Avengers (Cap, Iron Man, Thor, eventually Ant-Man/Wasp, and probably Hulk just because he's so popular--Hulk as a character has no real business being on any team apart from the Defenders IMO) and shifting the less "central" personnel around.
Probably one or the other. I'm put money on Panther.
Well, they're canceling the animated Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes in favor of a new animated series more closely attuned to the movies. Falcon is in the new series and is rumored to pop up in Captain America 2. If that happens, expect to see him in Avengers 2.
Do you think he'll have wings?

The 2010 film Iron Man 2 features a scene where Nick Fury shows Tony Stark a digital map which pinpoints various metahumans across the globe. One of these electronic indicators was shown in Africa, and according to director Jon Favreau, this was meant as an explicit reference to Black Panther.[114]
If they're planning on bouncing characters off Thor 2, Iron Man 3 and Cap 2, just think how long it's going to be before Avengers 2 even comes out!
