Did Peggy go full testosterone like the beast woman from The Last of Us 2?

"On Wednesday, the show launches with the Captain Carter episode, where Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) takes the Super Soldier Serum instead of Steve Rogers. The next week is Chadwick Boseman's stint as Star-Lord, and the week after features Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) in an Avengers-centric episode. Now, an official Disney media site has unveiled the positions of two more episodes in the series.

As eagle-eyed Marvel fans have noticed, the media site carrying What If...? images labled said snapshots in such a way that they're paired with their respective spot in the release timeline. In the gallery included, there are a pair of snapshots from the Dr. Strange episode we've seen in trailers which suggest that it's the fourth episode of the season.

There are then a batch of pictures from Wakanda, with a "106" label, meaning those events will take place in the show's sixth episode. That means as of now, Episodes 5, 7, 8, and 9 are the lone ones without an exact designation of which story takes place when."

I know right! :rotfl

I actually chuckled as a typed that but still couldn't help but feel that it needed to be spelled out in the wake of butch Teela, Captain Marvel, and a million other defeminized androgynous heroes in comics and animation these past few years.
I don't now what a Teela is but you're off-base with Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers. The majority of the illustrators who have penned her in the comics since she took over the CM mantle have given her plenty of curves. Having a full costume (not unlike Captain Carter, btw) and a shorter haircut doesn't make her androgynous. Heck, she's most often drawn as the Charlize Theron statuesque type, and she's had an on-going, off/on romantic relationship with Rhodey most of the time.

Comics she was once dressed for a porn but in the movie they put her in that costume that hid all of Brie’s curves.

Another dislike…

Now that Stark’s father already built a super functional flying and fighting mech in WW2 I feel that it diminishes Stark’s accomplishment with his Mark 1 in the cave. :gah:

Oh one more thing…i’m going to cry when I hear CB as BP :(

Not really, Howard had a full lab/factory to build a suit (presumably, considering the nature of the show's compressed storytelling), Tony still did it in a cave ... with a box of scraps.

Well it might diminish what Tony does in this timeline but I'm fine with that since this is it's own thing and they can change whatever they want.

Given it was a Kree space suit I cut them slack for the initial design, but going forward you’d think they’d give her a less restrictive, more form fitting suit. Fully powered she no longer even needs the suit to go space, so a fabric catsuit will work just fine. I’m sure Brie wouldn’t mind wearing something more comfortable, plus they’ll likely CGI the hell out of it anyway lol.

She did look like a buff dude coming out of the machine so in other words Gina Carano :yess:
Nah. Gina isn’t 6’6 and built like a brickhouse with arms of The Rock like Captain Carter was. Gina is just thicc now, arms aren’t as toned, waay better curves than Peggy/Hayley.

Well, I did say the majority of the illustrators. 😂
The first and last examples there are pretty bad - I don’t care for those animation styles whatsoever. The two in the middle IMO aren’t any “butcher” than Captain Carter. You can’t really judge them based on haircuts, as Peggy is from the 1940s when short hairstyles for women were mostly nonexistent. And i don’t know how you can judge the third one when any curves are hidden by the leather jacket.

I felt the first episode was rather meh. Being different stories from different timelines maybe a few will resonate just not Captain Carter

BTW, I've talked plenty of **** about Brie Larson over the years, and I don't think it was unwarranted, but ever since this clip from SNL resurfaced, I have to admit, she CAN have a sense of humor, apparently, and she cans sing too.
