Welcome Adam. Thanks for stopping by and giving us some insight. I love the work you've done and the two pieces that have been announced so far are both great. I can't wait to see even more of your designs brought to life and I certainly hope we don't stopped at 6.

Personally I think 6 is a great number. More would be nice, but 6 is pretty damned good! I got Emma fever. I have 4 on order from assorted places. Without having it on hand, I think it is already undervalued. Gonna need future trade bait to keep me out of divorce ad bankruptcy court!

Meh on this. I know I know, it's just me, but if she aint in a superhero outfit, it's just a statue of a "hot" chick regardless of knowing who she is. Wake me up when Black Cat or Jean Grey or something hits.

Thanks to all for the input and critiques! This is new territory for me, working on designs for three dimensions. Hope we have some good ones lined up.

A few answers, and clarifications....

I really have no say in the choice of characters. Sideshow confers with MARVEL and a decision is reached. I can voice my wishes, and who knows if that gets factored in...

Andy did NOT sculpt MJ; I'm not sure, however, if I'm allowed to divulge things like that, the names of the sculptors, before the preorder goes up.

We're doing 6 in case Sideshow decides I'm too awful to work with, and wants a divorce early on. . I have an exclusive contract with DC Comics to do ALL-STAR WONDER WOMAN, and there was some serious legal wrangling going on as to the definition of 'exclusive' in my contract. I'd like to do MORE than 6, as none of the 6 we're working on are any of MY all-time favorite MARVEL babes.... **sigh**

But we're trying! I'm just glad they are priced affordably. And I got my proof of Emma on my mantle, and I was stunned at how well it turned out....

Six is a good set only if we got to decide or vote on at least a couple. Seeing how the lineup is kept secret six may not be enough...

I think the line should be well rounded in a way where all character choices offer more than just over the top sexiness like Emma. My choices for the remaining 4:

She-Hulk (body building features have been trimmed down a bit lately but it would be interesting to see them used. Still, green skinned women are sexy)
Black Cat (this one is an easy one since it has the Spidey connection and this is basically the year of Spider-Man)
Sue Storm (one word: MILF)
Storm (dark complexion and white hair would make her stand out among the others)

My next wave of 6 top picks (if the line continues):

Black Widow (short haired sexy spy)
Spider Woman (Avengers featured character. Easy sell for this one. I still would prefer the older blue/white costume Spider Woman but I don't see it happening.
Rogue (the fact that most of her body is covered up due to her power makes it interestingly sexy)
Medusa (I rather have this red head than Jean Grey. It would be a more interesting sculpt with the long "alive" hair)
Ms Marvel (Marvel's version of Power Girl. She is sexy in a tough kinda way)
Psylocke (Sexy X-Men Ninja. Pretty easy sell there)

I think over the top sexiness is gonna be the name of the game for this line. Sells well to Marvel geeks and pervs.
