Awesome Adam!!! It's great to hear the Artist point of view on these things.

I can't wait to see what else is coming!!!:chew

Wow Adam, those pictures are awesome. You're talent in photography rivals your talent with a pencil. I see you live in Atlanta, are you ever at any of the local conventions?

I usually do Dragon*Con, every Labor Day weekend. It's only 8 miles from where I live, so they're lucky I don't show up in bunny slippers and a bathrobe...

Thanks for the kind words about my fun pics. My uncle taught photography at the Smithsonian for a number of years, but I never bothered to learn from him. He was retired by the time I got into it. I AM a colossal *******....

The Black Canary bust is the last of DC Direct line? They told me they were just gonna get someone else to do the third series...

And thank you for sharing all of your stuff with us, it is a real treat for us! :)

Welcome aboard Adam! I will be collecting all of these pieces (even though I've been getting out of the Marvel line to concentrate on other areas). Can't wait to see what you have in store for us!

We'll I'm not going to wait for it. come on! more then a year since the last announcement. Better be one hell of a PF!

Hey Adam, thank for the pics, they're hilarious!!!

I got a quick question that I hope won't be stepping on Sideshow's toys.

In regards to the series of 6 statues, I know that Sideshow got the choice in about who they want, but did you get total creative control on the pose and character design (outfit, particular hairstyle, etc.) to go with?

Awesome, I'm about 10 minutes from downtown and usually at Dragon*Con so I'll have to look for you this year.

Not TOO much. I come up with a variety of sketches of poses, and Sideshow takes them and disappears into some form of Think Tank with MARVEL. When they emerge from the other side, a decision, she is made. Like, with the Mary Jane... I thought her standing in a very 1950s Gil Elvgren pose, finding Spidey's costume in the laundry was kinda cute. Then I remembered that EVERY SINGLE TIME I get asked to draw Mary Jane at a con, it's 'wearing Spidey's uniform'. So, I submitted some sketches of THAT, and I kinda wanted THAT one to get picked. But on the next one after Mary Jane (I ALMOST typed her name by accident), I just rattled off an idea to Sideshow over the PHONE, and Tom Gilliland could totally 'see' what I was talking about; and we proceeded from THERE. So, it's weird and fabulous process!
