Movie or no, I want some action figures!

Thankfully, they're coming! :rock

We need at least one good 12" Shepard from someone like Hot Toys, though.

ironwez, no offense, but I find it unbelievable (and astounding) that, 6 hours ago, you did not know how to scan for minerals/resources and now somehow you've managed to finish the game. You've even asked the same question here on numerous occasions.

Granted, I guess it's not necessary to know how to scan a planet in order to progress through the game, but it's the easiest thing you can do, and if you couldn't do that, how'd you manage doing anything else?

Mind boggling. :lol

Lol well i looked in the book and did some googling and i scaned and minded the hell outta those planets to upgrade my ship. Awesome game i thought this would suck but i got so hooked on it.

Jack looked like a walking std, which is why i didnt do it with her.

Jack is one of the most fully-realized and realistic characters in the game, with a great (and very touching) back-story. You're put off by her at first (you're supposed to be) but by midway through I really started to like the character and care for her and by the time the endgame came around she was one of the ones in my party that I absolutely wanted to survive, at all costs. Terrific character.

Jack turned out to be one of the deepest characters in the game IMO. Great writing on that one.

Garrus was another one who went through a lot of character development... he really struck me as someone who'd seen one too many friends die and started just going through the motions... but you do see some of the old Garrus in there too (especially if you go Paragon in his loyalty mission).

My absolute favorite character though, and maybe my favorite video game character ever, is Tali. Possible major spoilers follow.

And I romanced Miranda you pervs, get your minds out of the gutter. :p

Tali's loyalty mission hit me harder than anything else in the game. She just sounded so scared at the prospect of getting tried for treason and going up against the admirals... my Shep felt a bit of a big brother thing for her so he was like heck yes we'll tell those admirals where to put it. Then we found her dad dead... I should have known better, but I had this feeling that we would find him alive and it'd be all happy, so it was like "damn." Then she just lost it, and you get THE best paragon interrupt in the entire game and can give her a hug (seriously, if you don't do that, you're heartless).

The whole mission was an emotional roller coaster and at the end when I saved her from exile with the Paragon "Tali's done more to fight the geth than you ever will, you losers!" speech, it was awesome. Plus her dialogue when she thanks you is really sweet.

In short, Tali ftw.

^^^Exactly. I'm afraid she's gonna die in my game.
I took Miranda's side during their skirmish in the ship so I think (according to other spoilers) if you do this route she isn't loyal and ends up dying towards the end of the game.

Same thing that happened to me, since miranda was hotter i took her side and well you know the rest.

Ok, I have a question. On occasion, random missions seem to come up...I dont mean the unexplored planet missions, those make sense

Take one example: Ive been doing the loyalty mission for the crew, and then I notice a nebula has a mission: save a ship, Broken Arrow I believe..I scan and it says Geth activity. I dont recall an email about the mission, 'hey save this ship' or some such, it just sorta appeared on the map as a mission....did i forget about a call or something? Just seems like it popped up, out of context

Thanks guys

I havent really thought about it, but I don think missions appear out of the blue. There have been instances where I stumble into a N7 mission without an message about it being sent to me beforehand, but usually I'd have to scan a planet with a detected anomaly first.

I'm pretty sure I did the mission you were talking about. It's the one with the crashing space ship, right? I can't remember if I got a message for it, but there's the possibility that you picked up the mission info while simply playing the game (exploring cities, places, talking to people, reading datapads, etc etc)

Finished the game, and loved it! Took me a while, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'll be going through a second replay, then probably a third.

The big Human/Reaper thing at the end looked like a gigantic T-800 Endo :lol. And the characters that died in my game were Jack, Legion and Miranda. Is there any actual way to keep all of them alive? I know there's an achievement for it, but it seems pretty difficult.
