Interesting, so what is the point of the damn bars then?

I guess to give you a gauge of how much you have by glancing at them. I know on my first play through I was talking to Nick and Lonnie and wasn't paying attention to the numbers but would just look at the green bars as I moved my scanner around.

Keep on harvesting I have yet to max them out with all 4 bars filled up.

At the end of my first run through I had over 200,000 of each....don't think there is a max. That was thoroughly mining every planet. Time consuming - and didn't need all of it...so wouldn't recommend unless you are bored. :lol

Wow nice. Also once you go through a planet is that planet pretty much dead then or can you go back after a certain amount of time?

It will say DEPLETED - but I still found spots where I was able to get a strong reading. However, I do not think you can go back after a certain amount of time and it's reset. if you mine all the planets - you will have more than you need. Like I said, after my first run through, I had so much left over. Was bummed when I did my second play through and used my previous Shepherd all I got was 50,000 of each. I had over 3x that left over.

Mordin's sex advice is hilarious.

My personal favorite is the Miranda one... "Watch for bugs. Could be anywhere", and his line about creative use of mass effect fields.

Ha, I remember that one. It's so great to have the Professor around, not just for awesome upgrade research, but to provide an authority on matters of reproduction. I wonder if he offers different advice for each romance?

Yes. For the Garrus romance he warns Shepard not to "ingest." :lol"

I am so pumped to get these figures.

I am mega exited to start part 2.
might started these weekend.
just being so busy with familly and friends.

So I finally finished the game--25 hours

Really amazing game, it still impresses me how much they were able to do, although I wish we could have had all the party members at the beginning rather than just finishing the recruiting before going to the final mission.

There's some things I'm wondering though
If you haven't upgraded the ship, does it blow up when you're being pursued through the ship graveyard?

Also,

I chose Tali as my Specialist to go through the pipes at the beginning of the mission and she got shot and died when she was trying to close one of the doors, is there a way to stop that? Or does it happen no matter who you choose?

If you don't get the hull plating, shield, and weapon upgrades for the ship, your ship gets damaged and potentially kills one or more of your crewmembers.

Also, you need to have have done everyone's loyalty mission or they'll probably get killed. Tali works for the vents if she's loyal.

Also make sure whomever is in charge of your fire crew is loyal as well. I had Legion go through vents first (loyal) but Miranda was in charge of the fire crew and she was not loyal and Legion died. When I changed Miranda out for Garrus, problem solved.

Right, slipped my mind... every specialist and fire team leader has to be loyal, and I hear that whoever you take to the boss fight has to be loyal too or else they bite it.
