Yea, I felt sorry for the Collectors as well. The Protheans were destroyed by the Reapers, and the surviving Protheans were indoctrinating into the Collectors; VERY tragic story for that once great race. GOD, I want this game to come out and just be epic :lol

Me too. I'm afraid I am getting my expectations up so high that it won't be the epic ending I want so badly. I had such high hopes for Gears 3 and I have to admit, I was a little disappointed. Good game...but not EPIC. With ME3, I want it to blow my mind and leave me drooling in the fetal position on my floor when it's all done. And then I'll get up and play it again and again. Is that too much to ask of a game? :lol

Its weird, I was not digging the Gears 3 campaign when it first hit, but has since grown on me.

Still don't like the whole Ice - T character. Especially when he says to Marcus, 'I'll see you later!' or whatnot; I was like, 'I hope not'

I must say, that Bioware usually never lets me down (if you don't count KOTOR 2 and Dragon Age 2). As long as they explain what/who the Reapers are and it's full of ass kicking moment like ME2, I'm content.

Yea, especially when he says "I'll see you later"........then he actually never sees him again :banghead:banghead:banghead:banghead

Wow, lol!!! Honestly, I'm hoping for the same. I think most people are really hoping and praying the ending is really really good and doesn't leave us with more questions than answers.

Gears of War 3 had a crappy ending and did exactly that. :(

Bioware didn't make KOTOR 2

I'm hoping the next set of ME games are very small scaled. Like Indian Jones in space or something. Would be cool to only have a couple planets, but you could fully explore all of them.

It will be interesting to see where the series is taken after ME 3. There is no way Bioware is just going to let the IP die after the success it has had. So the question is, what will they do with the series?

Maybe take it back to when the Protheans were starting to encounter the Reapers? Or when the humans first discovered the Prothean technology on Mars? I'm sure it will be a prequel of some sort.

I hope it's not a huge epic sort of game (the context itself) but a lower played part of the universe type of game, where it's not your ass to save the universe your just part of it. Would be cool to become a smuggler or bounty hunter instead of a leader, like the guys in your crew in the ME games.

Movies, in fact the guys that write and produce the games are writing the script for the film, which is being funded by Legendary pictures. Lets see if this happens though. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't continue the story, it feels like it'll be pretty complete and they are great story tellers in that company to make other game franchises.

Bioware had no part in KOTOR2. That was developped by Obsidian. And to be fair to Obsidian, Lucasarts rushed them to release.

To be fair to Obsidian everything they've done is crap

That's untrue. Neverwinter Nights 2 was very good.

KOTOR 2 wasn't crap. It was unfinished but there were a lot of good moments in the game.

Fallout: New Vegas, while buggy, did offer a lot of improvements over Fallout 3 and had a cool story.

It's largely made up of Black Isle Studios, Troika etc...

This means they were involved in Planescape: Torment (still one of the best RPGs ever made), Fallout 1 and Fallout 2, Icewind Dale 1 and 2. Those were all great.

New Vegas was the worst RPG I ever played, made it about 6 hours in and gave it up. F3 is so much better in every direction.

6 hours is like 5% of the game. Hardly a fair way to assess an RPG. And if that is the worst RPG you've ever played, you haven't played many I'm afraid.

There were lots of improvements. One is that you had more choice in your factions. In F3 you couldn't join the Enclave. You can join Caesar, be independant, join the brotherhood or join the military in New Vegas. Furthermore you had more options to play in different ways such as being a melee specialist, which wasn't very viable in F3.

The main issue with New Vegas was simply the fact that it was littered with bugs, which to be fair is the case with Bethesda's games but it was to a greater degree in New Vegas without a doubt.

Worst rpg? Two *cough* worlds.

Two worlds two was slightly better but I am still feeling bitter I got duped into buying it. ****!!!

KOTOR 2 was ridiculously buggy, and the story was terrible, I can't even tell you what it was actually about and I've played it through at least twice. It was also very disappointing in how crappy Darth Nihilus was

That's a pretty bold statement to make. I've played F3, NV, Dragon Age, Obliv, Skyrim, ME, ME2, Fable (1, 2, and 3) Dead Island, KOTOR, Borderlands.... Shall I go on?

NV is the worst RPG because it is simply BORING. I don't quit games over glitches, but when I give the game 6 hours it should have me invested. It didn't.

Doesn't seem bold. All the games you listed are very recent. No japanese RPGs mentioned. None of the great PC classics.

I do admit though that NV had a very very slow start. It does however pick up and looking over the Metacritic aggregate, it seems the critics generally favored it as well.

Anyhow, I don't wish to stretch this forever. I began by simply correcting someone where they believed Bioware were the developpers of KOTOR 2 which isn't the case.

Back to ME3. Where the hell are my Hot Toys of Shepard, Liara and Garrus eh?
