That would actually explain things. Someone told me once, concerning Hot Toys getting the Star Wars license, that getting the Star Wars license is the kiss of death for any company. It eats up all resources and because of the fees they pay to Lucas, it never returns much, if any, profit.

That's just silly. Remember Bioware made the first KOTOR and it was great for them. Sideshow has been quite successful with their Star Wars line, and I don't think Hot Toys even has the license (they're doing it through Sideshow).

Any failure of a licensee is due to themselves--like Master Replicas.

Anyways, ME3 is a great game, I still like ME2 better, but ME3 is just fine. I'm just disappointed at the ending.

Playing more multiplayer now though, trying to unlock the Ex-Cerberus Adept.

Totally agree Darthviper. If the ending was better I'd probably like ME3 more than ME2.

Btw, any news on when the free ending expansion pack will be released? I guess technically summer hasn't started but it would be nice to have a release date to look forward to.

Also, the sooner that expansion DLC comes out, the sooner I can play ME2 with my FemShep that I recently made and played ME1 with. But I want to play through ME2's ending differently with different Loce interest to see how the expansion ending will alter if it will alter that much at all.

Don't get me wrong. I agree with you. It's just the ending is SO out of character for the series. But the game as a whole was haunting and satisfying like few games I've played.

From what I understand, the writing staff kind of broke apart during the production of ME3 which could mean that things weren't going as originally intended. Hopefully we'll get news on that extra content on Monday during the EA conference.

Leaked info on the next multiplayer pack and a snippet about the Extended Cut DLC. The informer was the same guy who leaked info about the Rebellion pack, so it's most likely legit:

Small bit about the EC DLC, not really revealing much:
An expanded ending for Mass Effect 3. Additional scenes and an extended epilogue reveal the impact of Shepard's choices on the future of the galaxy.

We're past E3 and still no release date. Bleh.

Kind of disappointing if the next 6 MP characters are all going to be human. If I want to play as a human I'll play single player.

While I appreciate new characters to play as, what we really need are some new enemies, objectives, game modes, etc.

I haven't played ME 3 since I beat it months ago. Is the face importation still an issue or has it been completely resolved? I was default fem Shep for ME 1/2 and the face would never import right for the 3rd game. I was really letdown by that.

I think the face importation has been resolved, at least for me it has. I was one of the unlucky ones that had to either reconstruct a new face or use the default my first play through and never felt right. Played it again after the update and the face importation worked just fine :yess: played with MY commander Shepard and had one hell of a good game expert ice. Can't wait to play again with these new endings and then again with my FemShep

I'm going to start my second play through this weekend.

I'm hearing the EC is just 10 minutes of extra scenes, but it's enough to get me to play the game again.

2Gb is pretty big for just 10 minutes of cutscenes. It will be interesting to see at what point in the game the new content begins. Is it only at the very end, or from the Illusive Man's base assault (which is effectively the beginning of the endgame)?
