So when played online yesterday it said it was going to give me the reserve pack or something like that for free. It's suppose to unlock an alien automactically...but it is no where to be found....

If you've played at all this weekend you're supposed to get a reserves pack that's guaranteed to have one of the new characters, but you won't receive it until Tuesday at the earliest.

Most players are still waiting for their pack from Operation Raptor a few weeks ago though...

I bought mass effect 3 when it came out but havent had a chance to play the game. I've been staying away from the thread cause I dont want to accidentally read any spoilers but I read from other sites that there was supposed to be an extended ending dlc for free. I tried to look for it last night but couldnt find it. Anyone know when it will be available?

_An official press release went out today announcing how we are_re-prioritizing the Mass Effect 3 post release content schedule to provide a more fleshed out experience for our fans. For many of you the "Extended Cut" will help answer some questions and give closure to this chapter of the Mass Effect story. Oh and it's at no cost to you - the fan.

What can fans expect from the Extended Cut DLC?
For fans who want more closure in Mass Effect 3, the DLC will offer extended scenes that provide additional context and deeper insight to the conclusion of Commander Shepard's journey.


Are there going to be more/different endings or ending DLCs in the future?
No. BioWare strongly believes in the team's artistic vision for the end of this arc of the Mass Effect franchise. The extended cut DLC will expand on the existing endings, but no further ending DLC is planned.


What is BioWare adding to the ending with the Extended Cut DLC?
BioWare will expanding on the ending to Mass Effect 3 by creating additional cinematics and epilogue scenes to the existing ending sequences. The goal of these new scenes is to provide additional clarity and closure to Mass Effect 3.


When will the Extended Cut DLC be available?
Currently the Extended Cut DLC is planned for this summer, no specific date has been announced at this point.


Why are you releasing the Extended Cut DLC?
Though we remain committed and are proud of the artistic choices we made in the main game, we are aware that there are some fans who would like more closure to Mass Effect 3. The goal of the DLC is not to provide a new ending to the game, rather to offer fans additional context and answers to the end of Commander Shepard's story.


So there you have it. Are we proud of the game we made and the team that made it? Hell yes. Are we going to change the ending of the game? No. Do we appreciate the passion and listen to the feedback delivered to us by our fans? Very much so and we are responding.

I feel your pain. I got both the Geth Engineer and Batarian Sentinel from the same premium spectre pack last Sunday and then got the Batarian Sentinel again from the victory pack.

Playstation Asia official blog accidentally leaked details about the next multiplayer dlc update:

"Rebellion"

Two new maps: Firebase Jade, set on a jungle planet, and Firebase Goddess, set on Thessia.

Three new weapons, new consumables and a new loot pack.

Six 'new' classes, including two new species: Quarian Infiltrator/Engineer (these already exist, so maybe male variants), Vorcha Soldier/Sentinel, and 'Phoenix' Adept/Vanguard.




No release date yet.

Nobody knows for sure what BioWare's Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut free DLC will entail, but some of the content's voice actors have signaled their participation.

Admiral Hackett (Lance Henriksen), EDI (Tricia Helfer), and Kaiden (Raphael Sbrage) will all be in the DLC, which contains additional scenes to flesh out the existing ending.

Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut comes out this summer.

I know I am completely and utterly late to this but I just completed ME3 and WTF is up with that ending? It wasn't final episode of LOST bad but more like final episode of BSG meh. Knew I should have waited until the DLC coda but just couldn't wait any longer. Grrr! Had to vent.

We feel your pain. Personally, I am pretty much done with Bioware after ME3. Just had enough of them

Loved Mass Effect 3 up until the last hour or so, which is a shame because the series as a whole is probably one of the finest around and really brought some new ideas to the gaming industry, I love how decisions in the first can carry on and influence decisions later on.

The good thing about ME3 that has surprised me is how fun the multiplayer is! Didn't expect it and it is nice to just have a few games with friends every now and then.
