astro, nice lobo avatar! i used to collect lobo comics when i was a wee laddy. i was recently looking at a statue of him here in boston i wanted to buy. IT WAS FRACKIN EXPENSIVE!!!

Thanks jason, I'm a big fan of the "Main Man" too, I used to collect Lobo comics way back when also. I have the original Lobo statue that DC put out, I don't know if that's the one you are referring to since I don't know if they ever made any other different ones besides that one, except for the miniature version of it. It is very awesome and the only thing that could make it better would be if his dog was included, HAH!!!

That looks great, I wish every movie and game could be as good as their trailers. I'm sure the Omega DLC will be well done and worth playing, I didn't hear any complaints about the Leviathan DLC.

Does anyone know if the upcoming trilogy pack will recognize the dlc that's not automatically included or will I still have to pull out my old disks to play those missions? I have PS3 so I'm mainly buying the trilogy so I can finally play ME1

Next Mass Effect 3 DLC Has "High Potential for Tears"
"It's all hands on deck for this one."

BioWare is already working on the next story DLC for Mass Effect 3, the first details of which have appeared online.
While we don't know the name or proposed release date of the new content patch, we do know that BioWare is enlisting the helping of several names that have previously been involved in the series.

It's all hands on deck for this one. Pretty much every ME3 DLC writer here in Edmonton is involved. (which would include both Patrick Weekes AND John Dombrow).
In a post on the BioWare forums,*designer Jos Hendriks explained that a team of about eight writers were penning the script, most of whom had worked on some aspect of the game before, saying, "It's all hands on deck for this one. Pretty much every ME3 DLC writer here in Edmonton is involved. (which would include both Patrick Weekes AND John Dombrow)."
While that handles the story of the game, what about the music? Well, it seems series veteran Sam Hulick is set to return to score the new DLC, tweeting last night, "What I'm up to lately: working on an unannounced Mass Effect 3 DLC! More details on this coming later on."
Hulick has previously worked on the first and second Mass Effect games, as well as Mass Effect 3, though he was noticeably absent from the soundtrack for the recent Leviathan and Omega expansions. He also dropped in a little tease about what he's planning on bringing to the table this time, tweeting, "Tossing in piano and muted strings for this one particular piece. High potential for tears. #ME3DLC"
The final piece of info we have covers some of the voice actors that are set to return. It seems Seth Green, who's voiced Normandy pilot Joker since the series began is back as*BioWare producer and voice director Caroline Livingstone tweeted him to say, "@SethGreen*thank you for yet another fantastic session. And thank you for being such a kind person. You are lovely!"
Additionally, Raphael Sbarge who voices squadmate Kaiden Alenko*tweeted back in October that he was recording new lines for the game. With none of the squadmates appearing in Omega, it looks like this was also for the unnamed upcoming DLC.
This will be the fifth major single-player DLC pack BioWare has released for Mass Effect 3. With such a host of big names being called back in, do you reckon this could be the studio planning to see the title off with a bang?

Omega is kind of a disappointment to me after Leviathan, but I do look forward to this next DLC.

Maybe it's a bridge to the next ME game.

Omega was good fun and it was cool having Aria on the team for a bit. All action though with no real revelations about anything.

....not sure what this new one could be that will apparently be so profound unless they are actually thinking about setting one after the events of the main game.

One last epic dlc would be great, and the lineup of who is working on it thus far sounds pretty exciting to me. But honestly, I'm always in for more Mass Effect no matter what.

Never Played a Mass Effect Game before !

Funny how they don't even try to show of FemShep and pretend that there is only one Shepard. Well, have fun with the games but I know why I never ever buy a EA roleplaying game again.

The lack of FeShep on this box cover has made me abandon video games altogether :hi5:

Lol

But in all seriousness, the biggest reason I never completely embraced ME 3 like I did ME 1 and 2 is because EA/Bioware completely abandoned the default appearance of Fem Shep in the 3rd game. You could get it about 80% there, but it's literally impossible to make a Fem Shep in ME 3 look like the default ones from ME 1 and 2 and that took the immersion away from the story. :(

I would have traded the time they took to create the Extended Cut ending for the time and effort it would have taken to make my default Shep playable in the last game.

Get ready for an awesome time, Dead-Man. One of the most immersive worlds ever created, you'll care so much for the story and the fate of every character.

@speedy485
I never managed to get my original custom FemShep once in this crappy character creation in a single sequel. Don't know why, since there was the possibility to import the character or take the code (which was a really good idea) but it never looked the same.

However, it seems that Kotobukiya released the final look of their Bishoujo FemShep face now. It is less manga now, which I like better:

A shame that the black haired limited version lacks the Argus rifle and is only distributed by the BioWare store.

Finished the game the other day.
Been avoiding this thread as I dont want to accidentally read any spoilers so I freakin forgot to download the extended cut. :slap

I wanna go back and finish it with the dlc, so anyone know if you can get the good "destruction" ending with just the Entended Cut DLC or do you still need to bring your EMS rating by playing multiplayer?

You still need to have a certain EMS rating to get the "good" destruction ending. BUT - if you do the two DLC's (Leviathan and Omega) you get more assets which may just give you enough - if you are close right now.
