[MANGLORD]

He-Ro was never in the animated series and a figure of him was never produced. His story was featured in the Powers of Grayskull mini comic. The Sorceress and He-Man travel to eternia's past. King Hiss and the Snake Men are there ^^^^^*ing ^^^^ up, this is when skeletor and Hiss unite. He-Man joins the battle, it's to much for him to handle. Enter He-Ro!! a mysterious figure with a powerful wand. He aids He-Man and then sends everyone back to where they came from. the Snake Men are sent back to their pit. Sorceress, He-Man and skeletor are sent back to their future. He-Man is left asking a lot of questions, the Sorceress tells him that He-Ro is the Greatest Sorcerer. Later the great Lou Scheimer expanded on the He-ro mythology but it wasn't the same dude. he was the son of King Adam and Queen Teela, the kid could turn into He-Ro which was a power he would eventually use to fight the return of Skeletor. I don't know what backstory the figure will have since the card bios are a mash-up of different myths. I do know that this lifelong MOTU fan and collector is a very happy one right now.

i think he-ro should be from the past like king grayskull. one is a great warrior and the other a great sorceress. kinda like king arthur and merlin. or something like that.

Never realized how giant Tytus and Megator were... those are awesome!

And Gigantisaur would have been one of the greatest figures of all time

He-Ro is pretty cool looking, but not something I have to have.

Now that He-Ro is coming they should do another exclusive and make Eldor. They could do a nice update to him as they have done with He-Ro. They could add more accessories to him and also have the Book of Living Spells.

I do think that He-Ro will have a lot of influence on She-Ra. The tip of the staff has the shape of her helm while the jewel inside (even though it's green) could be the jewel that's in the Sword of Protection (yes, it's sad how I remember all these names from MOTU and POP).

He-Ro never was made as a figure, he only went to the prototype stage back in 87-88..he was supposed to be part of the ''Grayskull'' line wich was a time period in prehistoric Eternia...The MOTU line stopped before those were released.A couple of figures were released in the European market, like the 2 awesome giants:Tytus and Megator ( I bought them a couple years ago for my own collection and sold them later).He-Man was the ''most powerful man in the Universe'' while He-ro was supposed to be the greatest Sorcerer in the Universe.He's a mythic figure in the He-Man fan community.

And Shai, I must say for a man of few words I am shocked on how knowledgeable you are about MOTU and it's history. Well said man, well said. Pics fo show, I am only missing those four figures for a complete set, to have them would have been awesome.

Well if it weren't for my tax return I would have been out. I paid pretty much double retail for all three figures AND some crazy shipping prices. Stratos cost me $50 because the seller jacked up his shipping cost. But now Im caught up and one way or another will ONLY buy from Matty. Like I said though, I will need someone at SDCC to grab me He-Ro because now Im searching out Grayskull.. and I knoww that one is gonna break me.

U want the King, yeah I have no love for the King since his not along with the original line. I do remember hunting for him for maybe a second and prices were not kind on the bay, especially bronze guy...

Yea, I wasn't going to get him originally because he wasn't in the 80's line but.. considering he'd go along good with He-Ro I figured, why not?

No problem. I know how much it sucks getting these guys on the secondary The thing with He-ro is that he will either, A. sell out uber fast, B. be different between SDCC and Matty or C. both. The limit Im sure will be like Faker and be set at about 4.

Only the Wonder Twins set will be different (not including Gleek if you order it from Mattycollector). He-Ro will be the same. They also said he will come in the standard MOTUC package without any sounds/lights so they can be shipped internationally. So, if you miss him at San Diego, be on Mattycollector when he goes on sale there.

That's how I'm going to get my He-Ro figure. I can't make the time or spend the money to make it to SDCC.
