that is a good point...I prefer ordering from home vs wasting gas driving around hunting for toys (those days long gone)

I agree. In my area it's almost impossible to find any kind of "collector" lines.

I just order my figures. Hasbro's store is a god send when it comes to picking up their figures. I wish Mattel would do something similar.

isnt the reason the 200x stuff died was because of mattels stupidity packing 5 he-mans to one man at arms in a case? or 5 skeletors and 1 beast man? (cluttering the shelves)
then the repaints came along! then the typical poor mattel distribution! the line lasted 2+ at retail...

The case packs for the line are what killed the line. By the time Mattel realised the problem and tried to fix it, retailors weren't ordering any more new cases cause they were still sitting on old product. The case ratios for the Snakemen waves were good with 1 of each figure per case but the earlier cases were horrible.

Remember when Mattel had to do the whole Mossman promo to help retailors get rid of all of the Spin Blade figures?

I am happy though that Mattel did learn their lesson from the case ratios problems with MOTU and the Batman/Superman line. If not, we'd be seeing the same problems with the DCUC figures today. Their distribution is still off but I can see a huge improvement with the DCUC line in just the last few months.

I know I wont be attending sdcc....hopefully I can get the figure from Matty

I think this is a great choice for a con exclusive, people would s_it kittens if it were a core character and this is out of the norm like Grayskull. I almost got rid of my King Grayskull but I think He-Ro would look cool next to him, sort of the EU of MOTU. YoNoSe & Skiman, you guys still up for one of these bad boys?

Apparently I quit watching He-Man too soon and need to really watch the boxed sets I picked up awhile back, because I have no friggin idea who this guy is.

Edit:

Masters Of The Universe Classics HE-RO Action Figure

Raised in the wild by she-bearcat, the son of He-Man is heir apparent to the Power Sword and the Power of Greyskull!

Go figure

He-Ro never was made as a figure, he only went to the prototype stage back in 87-88..he was supposed to be part of the ''Grayskull'' line wich was a time period in prehistoric Eternia...The MOTU line stopped before those were released.A couple of figures were released in the European market, like the 2 awesome giants:Tytus and Megator ( I bought them a couple years ago for my own collection and sold them later).He-Man was the ''most powerful man in the Universe'' while He-ro was supposed to be the greatest Sorcerer in the Universe. He's a mythic figure in the He-Man fan community.

Do you have pictures from when you owned them? I'd love to see that.

I'm at work right now but i'll post pics later...but they are posed in a group ensemble of my first action figure collection so you dont see them that much...I had laser-light skeletor also..the greatest Skeletor figure ever...:rock
