I'm going to wait for the Wind Raider to be re-issued...and it WILL BE re-issued. I'm not going to be a John for Mattycollector's whore-dom anymore...I'm going to wait for their little stupid sales. For once I won't feel like a moron for paying steep original prices for their oh so rare plastic. For awhile they complained that second heads were too expensive for them...boo-hoo but here they go re-selling old goods at half price. I doubt they would of taken a loss. Lies, lies, lies. That is why I said NO to 2012 sub.

This is a possibility but given Matty's track record I think as a betting man it will be easier to lean towards buying it later on down the road or finding it at a cheaper price when more people get fed up and unload their collections. Matty's word doesn't mean jack****.

They have certainly scare-mongered to get sub numbers up. They like to forecast doom and gloom and try to make collectors feel like it could be that one order you don't place that kills the line. Then they have a massive sale and unload all the ____ you paid top dollar for at half price (which, for the record, I don't have a problem with - I pay because I want the figures and once I have them I don't care what someone else pays).

The trouble is, one day the sky is actually going to be falling on this line and we probably won't believe it. The mixed messages they send - The line is doing great! Whoops, we were going to make Castle Grayskull this year but you guys really failed us with the sub numbers... - have become static. I think most people just assume Matty is full of it. It's the sheer quality of the product and popularity of the license that keeps the line going in spite of Matty and Digital River of Foreigners.

I hate Mattel so much. It was bad with the 200x line but now dealing more or less directly with Mattel it's even worse. There's so much wrong with the way they deal with their customers but the constant bold faced lying and fear mongering is the worst.

We can't do ____ about it either since we're a captive audience. All we can do is complain and then get told by Mattel that we're the a-holes for being unsatisfied customers.
