I'm going to wait for the Wind Raider to be re-issued...and it WILL BE re-issued. I'm not going to be a John for Mattycollector's whore-dom anymore...I'm going to wait for their little stupid sales. For once I won't feel like a moron for paying steep original prices for their oh so rare plastic. For awhile they complained that second heads were too expensive for them...boo-hoo but here they go re-selling old goods at half price. I doubt they would of taken a loss. Lies, lies, lies. That is why I said NO to 2012 sub.

I hate Mattel so much. It was bad with the 200x line but now dealing more or less directly with Mattel it's even worse. There's so much wrong with the way they deal with their customers but the constant bold faced lying and fear mongering is the worst.

Agreed. It's all the lying and the fear mongering and the utter contempt that they show towards an insanely loyal customer base (that they are lucky to even have) that really gets me.

I would love to know how to cancel. I called DR on 11/28 and they told me they would cancel my sub and I'd get an email within 3 days. Long story short, 2 days ago I was on the phone for almost an hour with a guy whose name is NOT Mike, I don't care what he says, that eventually ended with "Sorry, you can't cancel a subscription."

I don't know why everybody keeps spreading all this doom and gloom. How do you want Mattel to be doing things?? This is a non-retail line with no media support. They don't want inventory. It's impossible to gauge interest for every single character to determine how many they should make. If they need to have Sub-only just to ensure that they don't have left over stock then so be it. I also don't understand why people are _____ing about what characters we get. Mattel already said they were gonna do every figure from all 3 vintage lines and then some. So why are people acting all surprised when we get NA and POP characters?? We knew this was coming. Get over it already. Don't need to hear about it everyday in this thread. This thread used to be fun.

My only gripe personally is how certain aspects are handled...
I usually don't nitpick or complaint about the line at all... but I am upset about the delay on product... Mattel doesn't even stick by it's own rules...
they've said that the bonus figures could take the spot of a monthly figures if delays happened. So BG Lyn could've shipped right away, along with my GB Viggo... ...

In any case, moving on!
I'm really excited about the Wind Raider!! And about radioactive Demo-Man! I want that Alcala head now!!!


If I end up canceling by sub or not, I'll still support the line.. as far as it can go!

OK, ok... let's not get carried away... even with the poor handling of the line Mattel at least PRODUCES the figures they announce...

I like the She-Ra and New Adventures figures we've gotten so far. The mixture of characters is pretty fun. Some of the Matty bs annoys me, but overall I'm just happy they're producing these guys.
