This really sucks for those people who work and/or can't access a computer during the day.

yeh and even though i have been able to get the figures i want it has been way tooo frustrating. i dont even wanna think about trying to get someone to help me score a hordak, man at arms, and he ro if i am not gonna have computer access. this is really stupid. mattel should look at companies like sideshow and make a pre order process and have wait lists. it would be perfect, plus they could look at the amount of pre orders and manufacture them to order so they dont lose money. its a win win situation.

A pre-order system is the best way to go, if they want to avoid the whole nonsense of extra runs and collectors getting screwed by scalpers.

I suspect there is some hoarding going on by wannabe flippers, making demand seem higher than it is. This wouldn't happen with a preorder system with wait lists, like Sideshow's. Just be patient, and they will be forced to dump Squidish Rex at a loss, pretty soon.

The fact that Mer-Man has had the highest run so far, is part of the reason I passed him up for now.

I tried to get one of these, but could not get past the submit order screen. Every time I tried, this processing screen came up for like 2 seconds, then it kicked me back to the submit screen. I didn't even have time to read the processing screen. I missed it, but think I'm cool with it. They have said that they might re release these down the road in different packaging. I will probably just keep my hopes up for that.

the sellout is getting rediculous! they need to lower the limits to 4 per person and start a pre-order for each monthly figure (no subscription).I have been lucky to be able to be home to order these and that will not last forever....I will be pissed if I miss out on some these (future releases) because of mattel's stupidity in not figureing out demand and catering to scalpers!! Mattel said this line was for the collectors and alot of collectors are missing out

I went back and forth and then started to place an order right as it sold out so I didn't get one. Way, way too few of these produced. That's a big turnoff and I hope hope Mattel figures that out.

don't worry , you will be able to pick him up on ebay for probably $20. I bet most collectors got theirs and scalpers will have too many left.

more trouble again i see. i guess i'll have to call in sick to work everytime these go up for sale. total BS if you ask me. i thought this was supposed to be a collector friendly line. they need to cut that damn ordering limit down to 2 or 3. nobody needs 10 of these. if people don't like international shipping fees, well, too bad. i gotta pay through the nose to get stuff from that side of the world shipped over to me. suck it up.

i think so. although i entered 2 and when i got my confirmation it only billed for 1. logged on to order 2 again and still only 1 was listed in my confirmation.

I got hold of my 2 today. Luckily I was able to get to the library and order them there, since I drive for my job. The ordering process was still screwy, because I wasn't able to submit my order the first few times I tried.

This is getting wacky. I went to mattcollector for the heck of it. I now have an order for 2 Mer-man that says "In process".
It has a different order number as the one I got on the 15th. I can only assume that the supervisor from matty came through for me, and found my lost duplicate order from the 15th. It looks like I will be getting 2 Mer-mans, I am crossing my fingers that they really screw it up and I get the Mermans for -8.00 bucks. What a wild ride to order a toy.
