Mattel has been After Thundercatrs for a while now, Bandai deal expires next year, Mattel is expected to "pounce" on it.

Considering Ghostbusters is over, DCUC is ending, and Voltron is done, MAttycollector.com needs a new line.

Thundercats just makes sense. The Four Horsemen have already said at powercon they would LOVE to work on Thundercats.

Which is one reason I don't care much for King He-Man either, lol. He's OK but again, not my favorite. He's cool though, the beard helps cover up his ugly mug. lol.

Club Thundaria is what I'm waiting for. If Mattel doesn't get Thundercats and do it MOTUC style (in scale with each other), they would be nuts. That's exactly the kind of line that could pull off another 1-2 year sub system. I'm still curious as to why Voltron didn't get anymore figures, since it did well from where I was sitting..

speaking of King He-man, gotta admit, I'm kinda suprised Mattel didn't go more in-line with his established look.

In other words, they decided not to renew the license and move forward. They probably assumed no one would want a Castle or Robeast or w/e. Oh well.

Hopefully Thundercats would fair better. I think it would be the best line for Mattel after MOTU. So much potential.

Until recently, I thought I'd be in for the end, but the line has lost a lot of the magic lately. I got my HT Hulk, my Shaak Ti statue, and I've been looking at the DCD stuff which I missed in the last few years and MOTU doesn't jazz me quite as much. I'm subbed for 2013 and 2014, but I have something over 60 MOTUC figures now and I'll have what I consider a huge collection at that point, even if far from complete.

Heck, when I was a kid I never had even 20 of them! :O

I had up to 1982-85 and very few 86...after that,I dropped out and continued on with GI Joe

No kidding... Tuskador is the coolest looking character of all 3... but after the SDCC fiasco where Huntara won over Lord Masque, I wouldn't be surprised if Tuskador doesn't win...

It irks me that as a subscriber,I am unable to vote unless I attend the Con.I don't like people dictating a figure that I have to pay for and not being able to vote myself...(like how Geldor worked)

That would make a good two pack, like a second SDCC exclusive. Since the new tooling they'd need for it wouldn't be as high since a lot of it is already done.

Tuvar and Badrah were specificly mentioned in the Last podcast by Tg as two characters who were dropped from the 2014 plan due to the restructing. they're likely in the 2016 plan, if we get that far.

Not really a complaint and likely just the photo but his shield looks oddly under detailed and oversized compared to the figure and his mace.

Tuvar and Badrah were specificly mentioned in the Last podcast by Tg as two characters who were dropped from the 2014 plan due to the restructing. they're likely in the 2016 plan, if we get that far.

I should really start listening to these MOTUC podcasts, lol. Well, that's a shame, but I suppose it would be a bit saturated with all three figures released in one year. You've just reminded me of how miserable and forlorn I'll be if the line doesn't make it past 2015. I want this line to never end.

And as I said, later on at the Mattel boot they kept yelling and ranting over the same stuff with Scott and Ruben and that's when I think they should've definitely been escorted out of there...
