Shapeways is amazing. Strangefate makes the skeletons. DJForce and Evil Mike are also good shops for motu fodder.

I don't think it would be difficult have some made without the electronics for European fans.

Yeah, I will not be buying a lesser version. They managed to ship the Ghost Trap for some reason so they can try to work around Snake Mountain. If they cannot sell to Europe, that will be rather epic fail I I think and would really piss me off.

nice. How well do they hold motu weapons, and hows the articulation overall

Articulation is better than a classics figure. And they hold motu weapons well. That's triclops sword in his hand there.

For once I have to agree with you, the interior is not impressing me so far. Too may empty space and random crap. Then again, that was the problem with the vintage playset too. Hopefully it's just an early prototype and they come up with something better. Aren't we supposed to get the "Bone Throne"?

From what I've seen, if you're selling toys in Europe, especially shipping them overseas with Lithium Ion batteries, you have to pass certain safety standards and get special exemptions to do that sort of thing. It's kind of tough to say for sure, I wish they would just finally give some specifics about the issue, "transparency" and all.

I think the bone throne was displayed in the front of Snake Mountain at this event.

It will probably be included with the play set. Although with the way things are going lately, I don't know if it will look like the one shown.

I still can't believe nobody at Mattel is responding to the complaints about Point Dread and Teela. They actually deleted a few dozen or more complaints from the ask matty section, so they are well aware of the backlash. Their attitude just might be enough for some people to throw in the towel.

All of this drama is seriously making me reconsider going in for the thundercats sub. I was going all in on two subs but now i just really dont know.

I've seen the hyperbolic vitroli from fans since the MOTUC line started, sure there have been issues with the line, just like with every toyline out there, but here we are 7 years later and the line is now wrapping up the last characters!
I'm really looking forward to ThunderCats!

Im just not as familiar as you guys are with the classics and when thundercats was announced i was super stoked. Just kind of cautious. Thats all.

You should be cautious. For the most part the MOTUC line is pretty remarkable, but it does have it's bad apples. For the money and fan devotion over an 8 year period, poor quality with these toys should be non existent.

In recent months we've been seeing a huge drop in quality with the line, and this is not an opinion, it is fact. They are cutting costs so much that it is impacting on the product. Just take a look at Point Dread and Teela. There is a serious problem with the line right now, and anyone considering the Thundercats or HMATMOTU lines should really think hard before committing to those subs. It is very probable that the recent lack of QC will pass over to future products.
