Kind of hate I missed the glow in the dark store version. Would look cool seeing it glowing creepily through the castle as you open it up.

I am anxiously awaiting any tidbit of info coming from Super7 about the future of MOTU and possibly Thundercats, but I know we may not hear much until later in the year. On the flip side, I am very excited about the remaining Classics figures coming from Mattel this year - General Sunder, Horde Wraith, Tuskador, and Nightstalker. Does anyone know if the single carded Horde Trooper and Roton/Skelecon set are still coming from Mattel? I don't remember getting any solid confirmation that they were in production, but maybe I missed that.

I was lucky - got my Thunderkittens and Sub figures in the usual timeframe. But I did peek at the Facebook page and was surprised at the number of complaints from people whose stuff didn't even ship yet.

I'm taking a break from the long holiday weekend here in the States to do a quick review of the latest Filmation style MOTU figures from Mattel - Beastman and Evil Seed. I'm really digging this line overall, and Evil Seed is a real winner in particular. You can find my review here:

Crazy busy at the moment but I did just open my MOTU subs this mornin. I am little underwhelmed by Beastman. I think his colours are far too bright, garish and flat looking. His head shape is a little odd too. But still a welcome addition.
Evil Seed didn't excite me at all but now that I have him, I think he's great. Style wise he is at odds with the others but think that's a good thing as I dunno about you guys but I display these Filmation figures separately.
Evilseed comes with a very cool vine chain for He-Man which just looks great and like it came straight from the cartoon!

Well with Facebook, I think folks may not go to forums as much as they used to and we are getting older too so this stuff gets less important. As well as the no new major figures. Things may perk up a bit with the arrival of Knight Stalker.
