Did you customize your Modern Dr. Fate or did you actually find the all gold running change?

Good catch, I was wondering if anyone would notice. Yes, I airbrushed some pearlized gold over the yellow. The yellow looked to canary colored, so I figured I'd add a layer or 2 of sheen to it.

seriously, Mattel is letting Walmart have another exclusive wave?...so stupid, WM here hasn't put out a new wave since 6...and my they never had ANY wave 5...i think my time with this line is close to the end.

We've got one Wal-Mart in town that has kept the recent waves stocked pretty well, but I was constantly looking for Joes over there over the last year and never saw a single wave 5.

I saw the Wave 5 at pretty much all the local Wal-Marts in my area (4 of them) over the past holiday season. I thought the figures looked like crap (the worst of the waves IMO), so I never picked any up and definitely regret it now. I'll try to pick up some of this new wave, if any are available.

No doubt!

I am glad they stock plenty where you guys are but what good is that for me and others like me?

M.

I live in the Midwest. They don't stock much here, I have a hard enough time getting collectibles. I normally have to online shop for all the collectibles I own and we usually get the DCUC way later than the release date. We just started getting some Wave 7 on the shelf and there's barely enough to sneeze at. I was just stating that we had received the Wave 5 figures over the holidays and gave my thoughts and opinions about it and how I didn't expect them to be in such demand. You don't have to get all bent out of shape about it and after all we're not here to stroke your ego and help you get those figures you can't get your hands on.

Whoa, I didnt read that as sarcastic or snarky.
Just it's hard as the distribution is so bad. What part of the midwest got Ser. 5 in abundance?
I live in Cali (MI transplant) and the Wally's around here were pretty bare, but Orange County is pretty heavily scalped. I even had a Wally employee lie to me on the phone the night they got a case in. Sure enough, the next day there was one single Riddler sitting on the shelf. This situation is realy bad, but I dropped a C-note on ebay and it seems that that's the reality. Im sure there are those that cant look at it that way, but there is very little recourse here. Mattel cant/wont even sell them on their site, and NO online retailers are allowed to get them either. So, what can you do?

hey thanks man, at least you got me...all on fronts, mattel just doesn't care.

Sorry, I snapped back at you guys. Your statement seemed presumptive at it specifically said "where you guys are", so you were referring to those certain people (which included me). The truth is.....these figures don't seemed to have been stocked sufficiently in most areas, except possibly the big metropolitan areas.

I FINALLY got Robin at my comic shop and was kind of disappointed with him after removing him from his plastic prison

I thought I'd post some pics of my collection:
