Quick question. Does the original Clayface from the DCSH line have rubbery arms like the Clayface from the recent clayface/batman 2-pack?

I found the 5 pack this afternoon!

Totally bizarre! It was just sitting at the end of a shelf on the same isle as DCUC. I didn't even go looking for it. I had a site-to-store pick-up and thought I'd check the isle for anything new (honestly does anyone here NOT do that when they go to a Wal-mart or Target, even if there isn't anything new out?). And there it was. Only the 1 too. So I got it.

I love everyone in the set but Catwoman. I just prefer the black outfit look. But it really does suck she is the only one that comes with an accessory. Two-face needed his Tommy gun from the first figure and Lex could have used that gun he came with the first time (Brainiac is currently shipping with it!). Other that, I love it. Great variants of Batman and Superman (well, its great to finally have a "normal" superman). I just wish the set was $5-$10 cheaper because of the low cost it took to make and the lack of accessories.

Before I forget, anyone have the Despero arm that came with Batman Beyond?

I've got a few parts I could trade. some from Grundy, the Metallo arm that came with Atom, and the leg that came with Mr. Miracle.

Good find Buttmunch. How are the paint apps on Batman and Superman? Are they good and clean? Oh and could you post some loose pics

Bats and Sups are great. Its also grea to finally get a "normal" Superman in this line. No more mullets or heat vison! And Batman is a great variant of the DCUC series 1 Batman. And no poop from Clayface either! The paint is fine on all of them really. Two-face has a paint line/clump on his face, but nothing horrid. I'll try to get some pics later tonight.

Good stuff to know. I'm looking forward to picking this set up just to have the quintessential Batman and Superman for this line.

Thanks BM. Wonderful pics. However the best Lex imo is your custom out of the three. For me the business suit version will always reign supreme.

I think business suit Lex is the best representation of his character as I think of him. But when you see a figure of him that way, he always looks like some bald guy wearing a suit (give him a wheelchair and BAM--Professor X ). I figure that is why we always get him in either his wacky Super Powers battle armor, or the Super Friends spandex outfit. They work better as toys, IMO.

You may have a point on Lex but I still want an official one from either DCD or Mattel. How is that Toy Biz is the only one to do a Lex suit version - and that was 20 years ago!
Also is just me or all three of those Superman different heights?

No, the Supermen are the same height, but they all aren't in a perfect line with eachother. I think one or two is leaning on the wall. So they are all the same height, but my pic isn't the best at showing that.

Oh, and apparently another collector in my area found the entire Chemo wave yesterday too. I guess Utah was the place to be for DCUC yesterday (at a wal-mart no less)! I'm not upset at missing them at all since I've got my set pre-ordered from CSC.(ever since they started splitting waves into two different cases it just hasn't been worth hunting a half set at a time) Strange how retail is getting this wave first though. I still haven't seen any Giganta figures in stores yet.

So it at least looks like Wal-mart's distribution is improving. Hopefully there won't be any problems with series 10. As long as I can get the Joker and Manbat I'll be happy. I think that is really all I want from that wave.

These are really great...next best line since Marvel Legends. Shouldn't be too hard tracking most of them down since all Targets, Wal-Marts and TRUs seem to be stocking anything from wave 2 to wave 9

I have (opened but I still have the packages) jason raucsh Firestorm and an extra Killer Moth.

Nice find Natrix...hoping CSC finally gets theirs in so my brother can pick em up soon (cash only for me with CSC!)
