No sets on Matty will have Gleek. Was was the SDCC exclusive part of the set. They had only the amount of Gleeks they made at SDCC. I think he sold out by Saturday though.

When I was at the show, after I got my set of twins, I asked about the status of the Wondertwins at Mattel booth on either Thursday or Friday. One of those days, the person at the booth said that the box of gleeks weren't on the truck for that day, so they might or might not have more gleeks the next day. I was hoping some of those missing ones would have been included on this online order.

Nah, they probably just incorporated them into the other days' sales. SOL for those on those days he wasn't there I guess :(

Mattel really does seem to do everything they can to screw with collectors despite them trying to be in tune with them.

Lately, pluggola/payola seems to be the order of the day. Fwoosh and AFI are in like flynn!

Figured I would try here to get the DCU collectors attention quicker than in the trade section. I am looking for Kalibak's right arm.
Long story short I thought I had it but now I can't find it and I finally got the torso piece to finish this BAF. I have Solomon Grundy's torso, right and left leg, Kalibak's right leg and Grodd's right foot and left arm. Be willing to trade those items for it or maybe buy it. Send me a PM.

Oh and the Fwoosh is reporting sights of wave 9 the Chemo wave on the west coast.
Black Canary it sounds like maybe disappointing as the legs are T-crotch not the traditional joint for this line. However she looks like an amazing figure and an impressive member of the League so you know you need her for the display. It does seem that the netting used for the fishnets are the cause of this though. I wonder if it would have been better to have just sculpt them on her legs instead of going the cloth route to ensure the articulation for those round house kicks.

Hi,

I don have the piece you are looking for but I do need Grundy's right leg. The one that comes with Sinestro.

Are you selling it?

Luis

Have you tried on the Fwoosh yet? I'm sure you can find one there.

Just got one off the bay for $8 - figured that was a good price for it.
And Luis - yeah I'd be willing to sell you that. I'll shoot you a PM.

And I was just thinking about Black Canary - do you think if you cut the netting off the motion in the legs would be normal?

I got my Wonder Twins pack from Matty today. Fairly quick shipment as they only shipped Wednesday I think and were ordered on Monday.

Still waiting for my Fwoosh Gleek though :(

Please excuse my stupidity, but what / who is "Fwoosh"? I'm one of the the SCCC attendees that didn't get a Gleek with his Wonder twins. Told they had run out. Looking for a source.

fwoosh is another action figure forum, thefwoosh.com. Pretty solid stuff, check out the dc boards, they're pretty interesting.

Yeah, the Fwoosh basically specializes in superhero figures. So Marvel Legends, DCUC, MU, DCD, etc. they are all covered. I do most of my trading and info gather for this and the other superhero lines over there.

Cool deal Luis. I'll get that shipped out Monday.

Well the Fwoosh states that BC does not have the same leg style that Wonder Woman or Hawkgirl has so even if you cut the netting off you still wont be able to do a round house kick. I think my only real problem is why did Mattel choose to tell us about Moss Man and his articulation problem and not Black Canary's? That way it would not have been a surprise.

Yeah, I agree...it kinda sucks. I didn't like the fact that they didn't include a waist turn joint on the Gentlemen Ghost...which means Joker wont have one either. I also wish they would have gave the parademons a ball jointed neck.

Well, Moss Man is collector oriented and BC is for the mass market. Unfortunately, that comes with the territory with mass market distributed figures. You pretty much get what they feel like putting out (I don't plan on posing BC in round house kick poses anyways, I'm just going to pose her in a ready to kick some ass pose).

Are we SURE that the articulation is not there? I seem to recall those guys saying that it wasnt moving, so they didnt want to force it. Wishful thinking? Perhaps.
I will miss this articulation as even if I dont pose her in a "flying kick" style, someday I will, but in this case, I wont! Should have been a way around this I would think. Perhaps they sacrificed for the real fishnets, but that's a debate that will rage on forever. Really doesnt make sense that they'd freeze that joint.
Anyone got Scott's (Toyguru's) email?

Quick question. Does the original Clayface from the DCSH line have rubbery arms like the Clayface from the recent clayface/batman 2-pack?
