BBTS is one of the few places that I pre-order, because they don't charge cancellation fees, and the Pile Of Loot is great. Up until the wave 9 issue, I hadn't heard many issues with them. Cornerstore Comics usually has these figures up for pre-order as well, though they have issues. . .serious issues.

I recommend BBTS too.

I buy all my DCD stuff from them too. EXCELLENT CS from them. I been a customer of them for years. They can sometimes be a little expensive but the no cancellation fees is great if you like changing your mind on stuff.

Also, you can start buying these on Matty's website next year. Before you ask, yes you can buy the figures separately. You can't preorder them though which sucks.

Hmm thanks for the info guys. So what's the deal with wave 9? Matty's facebook states that it's still shipping and that wave 10 has only begun to ship and will be widespread for the holidays.

You know, its stuff like this that has me second guessing whether to even start collecting these on a serious level. I read the headaches you guys go through to get complete waves and it goes against my better judgment to collect lol Oh well, I'm not going to let a headache stand in the way of awesomeness. Will Matty be selling entire waves? don't tell me they are going the MOTU route and doing one a month?

My advice is to just preorder a set from an online retailer like BBTS. If you know you want the whole set, it's the easiest way to guarantee you get the figures. The exception to that is of course wave 9 which Mattel screwed up for some unknown reason.

Matty will be selling the whole wave but you won't be forced to buy a set like you do at some online sites. Also Matty has said that they will be retail price with no price hike which is nice. I still don't trust Matty though which is why I like having the option of pre-ordering from a retailer.

So you've been following "crap" since you've been able to walk?

Following Batman. Didn't read a comic until some time after.

Well I'll agree with the BTAS part. I love the BTAS and worship the ground Bruce Timm walks on. :bow

He takes all the good parts of the DCU and makes them 100Xs better.

I think it's the BEST medium out there. If we agree on that then I definitely don't have a problem with you. I want some new DCUC styled BTAS figures. The Kenner ones are great so I'd love updated versions of them.

But future waves will still be available at brick and mortar? they aren't going Matty.com only are they?

PSST...DCD in 2010. :monkey3

Mattel's license for the DCAU except JL/JLU is up in 2010 and DCD already has protos made up.

Supposedly only 25% or so of wave 9 ordered by online e-tailers was fulfilled by Mattel, but Wal-Mart, Toys R Us, etc. don't seem to have had these issues, since the supply has been high enough that the eBay prices aren't too insane.

As for DC Direct doing B:TAS, I love the designs from that show and the old toys from my youth, but I'm not overly interested in DCD's product. They can make some great looking toys, but I've been a bit spoiled by the articulation of DCUC at this point. I recently sold most of my DC Direct stuff, in fact.

Yes you can still buy at Wally World. :lol

I personally just hate having to hunt down an entire line. I always seem to find an entire wave except 1 and then I screwed. :mad:I gave up after wave 4. :monkey1

Hopefully they don't wrack these figures up to the movie master's prices. Thered be no difference between their site and ebay.

I'd rather have things like DCD that don't break and get loose joints when you look at them than ^^^^ like DCU falling apart all the time. i've had so many problems with the rocker angles being loose, torn joints, displaced joints, etc.

i would like to thank swiftlikessharpthings for sending me an almost complete imperiex BAF in the mail for free!!! thanks pal!!!! this is going to be a kickass figure once i hunt down a the last pieces.

Thanks again SSWIFT!!!!!

I'm looking for any figure from series 9 and series 10, send me a PM.
Thanks!!:D

Yeah, same here. I've even recently gotten rid of stuff I never thoguht I would, like a complete Hush collection and the Reign of Superman stuff (including Cyborg Supes). I think all I have left now is a Parallax and original Guy Gardner. But I think DCD would be a better choice for the job, plus, I don't need something else to hunt for from Mattel along with DCUC :)

well thats the idea. If you find me some extras, please send them my way so I can put them on ebay. Moneys tight lately guys. The government is gonna start taking things away...

like HBO. But I'd prefer they take my kids.
