I'd rather have things like DCD that don't break and get loose joints when you look at them than ^^^^ like DCU falling apart all the time.

The DC Direct figures I've had have been amongst the worst I've collected in terms of breakage. I've had several figures' wrists break off right out of the package. Plus, if you try to store them together, their paint rubs off on other figures way too easily.

I've heard bad things about the DCUC quality, but it is nothing compared to DCD based on my experience.

i dont like dcd...too static, although the new line out in the perez style looked to have more articulation. I hope mattel keeps the license. besides the hunt, the line is much better than i ever hoped for.

You might have just seen a bad one. Mine had excellent paint while another I saw had horrible paint.

Two Face's paint seems to be hit or miss. Some look horrible while others like mine look outstanding.

Like all Mattel products, the QC varies a lot.

I'm looking for whole cases of wave 10 while we're at it. If anyone has any please send them to me for free

I hit up a local Wallyworld and they've built a DCUC endcap filled with wave 6 and 7, and although they didn't have wave 10 this gets my hopes up that they are clearing inventory to make room for holiday shipments to begin and then hopefully wave 10. I helped the cause by picking up Wonder Woman, Hawkman, Flash and Miracle.

Mattel has claimed that wave 10 will ship until the holidays so maybe Walmart will be putting these on end caps. All the end caps in my area are still have ROTF figures and Clone Wars.


My Walmart finally got the 5 pack in so I guess anything is possible.
