Probably won't get noticed before I return haha, but I'll be away starting today and coming back on the 18th for my brother's wedding.

First, bringing things full circle. Did the best I could with the Mattel Movie Masters Joker.

And now, the Hot Toys Joker.

Is this rock base or whatever it is custom made? if not where does one get a hold of something like that?

That's a stunning shot! The texture and lighting on it... I just love it.

It actually isn't a rock base, guess it looks that way. I have a flat pedistal I lay black cloth flat on top of to shoot my collectibles, sorry, can 't help with the base thing.

Ah, the way you done it.... it reminded me of something of what you would see on model railways. Kind of like black stonework/coal or something along those lines.

Interesting effect the way the light captured the cloth.

Ya, the extra length and the flow of the cape on that particular figure adds to the illusion he's elevated on top of something, the cape's my favorite part of that figure, you can do some fun things with it.

Man Sean, those two pics look amazing, seriously amazing!

The opening to TDK reminds me of T2 with the slow-mo fire scenes! Just awesome!

Thanks, and yeah, it's also a nice foreshadowing to the concept "everything burns", which in the end you realize is the message of the events in the movie, everything but Batman can be destroyed.

Yes. Another good part is when the Joker finally realizes he's not one he can break and mentions to him "You truly are incorruptible aren't you?"

Boy I gotta tell you Sean, I have no idea how much longer I can wait for the DVD, I finally took my brother a week ago (his first time and my 3rd in IMAX) and it was STILL sold out.

A cool begginning (that really sets the mood) and an even greater ending! 5 weeks later and i'm still high over this film, movies like this must come once every 10 years!

I'm sure the DVD release date (whatever it is projected to be) will be pushed back.

I'm guessing the DVD release will have no bearing on toy selling since it's really not the big a market to kids, I'm thinking sometime between January and March. I'm with you though, it's a great theater experience, but it'll be nice to have the luxury of seeing it sharp and in my own home when I want and all.
