Then sadly McFarlane won't be getting my money. Oh well maybe we'll see a season 3 Daryl with better paint and articulation.

The first Daryl figure's outfit is too different from his current look for them to just add a poncho and call it a season 3 Daryl. My guess is either we'll see Merle in a black shirt (instead of tan) like he is currently wearing or he'll have both is hands. They could easily make the 2 pack from an early episode of season 1. Milk that old Daryl sculpt and make new look for Merle and the set will sell just fine.

I could easily see them doing something like this:

series 1 Daryl repainted/new head w/ Merle in black shirt
series 1 Rick with series 2 hat head w/ hatless Carl

When I first and the only time I saw Daryl his paint was crappy. I didn't get it because I wanted a decent paint job. More likely it will have a better paint job so I'll be getting it. It will hold its place until they redo him. Can't believe people still paying crazy amount of money for it. They'll have a rude awakening once they see him repacked.

Couldn't they try to get the licence for a 12 inch or 1/4 Walking Dead figures? I mean, couldn't they?

I passed on Daryl and Rick from series 1 because they looked really rough. How were Shane and Rick from Series 2? Since they're doing another Daryl, and probably another Rick, maybe I'll jump into the line now.

How hard is Series 2 to find?
