Got my set today. Glad I'm not a MOC collector because Gamestop really mashed the cards up to get them in a HUGE box with too much air pillows :lol

Only opened up Merle so far. He is easily my favorite figure in the line so far. Sculpt is great, paint is good, articulation works better than any previous wave. I'll definitely pick up another to make a custom bloody/beat up version.

Makes me glad I bought a set at my local GS. If paint is crap on the ones I ordered online I'll return those.
Here are some close up pics I took.

Nice, your pictures came out nice. It looks better in hand, but when I took pictures I couldn't get ones that shows the details like yours.

The sculpts are actually amazing for being in such a small scale

Like most action figures, they were probably sculpted at a larger scale (around 1/6) and then shrunk down. I think they said they've also used 3D scanning, so that probably helps too.

I really can't wait to see how the Gov turns out now in series 4. And we definitely need a new Rick (any look really) and Daryl after the improvements with series 3. Glad I was able to snag the previous waves (except Daryl) at retail or less .

I'll give you that. Only reason I think of why they didn't was either they found out about it once the sculpt was done or they just felt sculpting it would make it oversized (too thick and raised up) and hard to paint. :dunno

Just got back from Gamestop and I was able to score the entire new series. They had another set minus the autopsy zombie as well. :rock These look even better in hand guys. I would suggest picking up a set for the prices go up up and away. I have a feeling Michonne will be a popular figure.

Can't believe how much people are bidding for series 3 on eBay. Why not go to gamestop or order online from gamestop?

Knowledge is powah!

Went by a gamestop today. Had a full case still. All of their Merle's face paint were meh though. So I'll stop by a different one tomorrow.

Don't understand impatient idiots :lol

Glad I was able to pick and choose nice paint apps this Tuesday. Picked up another set of pets 1 and 2 before they dry out. Michonne was sold out, hope the Michonne and Meryl thy I ordered has nice paint apps too.

Luckily the ones I got in the mail had good paint. My Merle is better than those I saw today, but he could be better. I do hope to find a better painted one and keep that one as is and bloody up the one have now.

My Michonne is perfect though, so I lucked out there.

Maybe I'm just an ***** but I can't figure out how to attach one of the Pet's Jaws. The other one is nice and easy with two pegs, but the other one (the one without the gun backpack) I can't figure out for the life of me. Not that it matters much as I'll display them arm and jawless, but I just want to know how to be able to attach that jaw now :lol

I asked one of the guys who works on the figures if it was the plan to make all of the figures super articulated from now on and not pre-posed and here's what he said

"That is the plan , but sometimes it depends on final cost. The more articulated a figure is, the more expensive it is to produce. This can sometimes be a factor as to how many points of articulation a figure will get in the end production."

I keep checking the Walmart by my house and i can't ever find any Walking dead figs,
where are they? in the toys section? or somewhere else?

I picked up all of series 3 today at my local gamestop. Also got the series 2 Well Zombie for only $2.99.
