I seen a couple of these in person yesterday for the first time at Gamestop .

Pretty damn sick looking , but i didn't know that they were so small , what are they 5 inches?

They have improved the likenesses. Especially with Michonne.

Like I said, on Talking Dead they showed they are digitally scanning the actors and then having a sculptor go in and touch things up and add hair (which doesn't scan properly apparently). So considering they have a 100% likeness base to start with, they ought to be improving now

The next wave also has scanned likenesses so we should be getting great Governors and Andreas.

I would get into this line but I'm not sure if I should just get the show figs or the comic figs.

I'm not very far into the comic, but it's around where the show is currently.

Yeah, they really have improved this line 100%. Really blown away by the sculpts, paint, and articulation. Michonne's wrists are particularly well done, lending her to countless poses with the sword. The hips are a little weird I suppose, but still better than most. The ratchet joints are also a little asthetically unappealing, but overall the figures are great.

Really didn't want to get into another line, but I'm probably gonna go back and pick up Merle today, if he's still there.

I ask myself the same thing about the tiny size, and the only answer I saw someone say it is because it is a lot cheaper to make them smaller than 7 inches.

So McFarlane wanted to do Walking Dead figures but he couldn't even bother to make them a good 7 inches I guess...

Here in Canada gamestop sells them for $19.99 each, they still had series 2 available when I was there last week.

Maybe he is afraid some other company like NECA will make some eventually and put his to shame. Having the different size scale will some what protect his line. Don;t know, just a thought.

actually maybe that is the case. Maybe he wants to corner the 5 inch market since Neca is doing so well now.

I was thinking the same thing. the smaller scale makes a diorama alot more manageable. one of my local comic shops had nothing but zombie pet #1 filling 2 whole pegs. weird

Sometimes people even get angry with spoilers from season 2. I've seen fights on facebook because someone posts something

so a figure like that. I wonder when would a zombie Merle figure would be okay for sale.

It would make for a great SDCC or TRU exclusive. The body is more or less the same as the current figure. Just give him a new head and hands and new paint and a new left thigh and it would be good to go.
