McFarlane Toys: The Walking Dead

And as I already said in one of the buried threads, don't think for a second that if these sell like hotcakes, SSC, HT, etc., won't take notice of it.

I kinda don't see HT making TWD stuff but SSC definitely if the McF figures sell well. Though a 1/6 figure of Daryl Dixon by HT would be great.

I'd prefer a Merle personally. Michael Rooker can be bashed into soooooooo many figures, namely a Henry!

Walking Dead Rooker would be a little old for Henry plus not enough hair. Still that would be a sweet figure.

The hair I can have sculpted. The aged face, I can easily live with. Especially at HT quality!

If they made 1/6 I would get Rick Grimes and I also wouldn't mind having both of the Dixon brothers. As for the zombies I currently have plenty of Sideshow's The Dead 1/6 figures to fill those roles.

I haven't bought a McFarlane in a long time but I'll be buying these depending on final product.

I cannot want to get a tv and comic set for my desk and a separate set for my collection. Mcfarlane might have their moJo back. They just need some spawn figures and quarter scale statues.

Well the comic version of the Walking Dead figures just hit my Toys "R" Us today. They look pretty cool!

But the $20.00 price tag is a real turn off! I still bought them anyway...

You'll have to give us some further impressions, they look like they've lost a TON of detail. Seems atypical of McFarlane.

Aren't they 3 3/4 size?? I guess that's not bad, I just remember seeing the huge 2-ups at Toy Fair, and I guess I just expected more out of these. I figured they were sizing them down for 6 inch. And the $20 price point would support that, but for 3 3/4?? Yikes. I would've figured Kirkman would give McFarlane a deal on the license, haha.

Arent these guys about 5 inches not 3 3/4. Im gonna assume there more towards the 5 inch mark like the Halo Reach figures. At $20 bucks im not diggin that. Cool, but not $20 cool. If I run into a zombie i might pick one up but more than likely its a pass.

Wow, $20 for 4" figures? I was positive they were 6". Glad I didn't order them online.

I guess they will blame the lack of fan support when there's no series 2.

Their around 5 1/2 inches tall. There is a ton of articulation on each of the figures, plus all the extras they come with is cool.

The zombie lurker looks like the Mummy with a t-shirt on. And yes, they did lose alot of detail...maybe because their just so small.

After lookin at them for a while...I honestly can't believe I paid $20.00 a figure.

I love the Walking dead! But not that much.

I think I'm going to return them tommorow and wait for the larger TV series ones to come out.

Hm. That makes me feel a little better. I really do want these. I think our window on Walking Dead figures is going to be a small one.
