yup for the money they are charging for this fig, this over size flip flop shoe on spidy ,cant think why they left such a obvious flaw and eye sore left unchecked.:slap is a simple fix for them. i not spotted this on early pics, i was what d, .....

I wonder how easy it would be to detach and discard that weird heel section?
It's pretty fugly.

dont think it,ll be differcult. just like a pair sandles on his feet. should be a easy fix too. cut off extra heel and stick the silver bits level with heels :)

If I was buying it (which I admit, I'm not), I think I would do that. "Beach wear" Spiderman was the wrong way to go!

When the dust settles and $100 drops off his value, I might pick one up. ;)

Looks good this figure does.

HT in for some good competition. Doesnt happen too often these days.

It does seem medi ramps up their effort when they know they are going head to head with HT. TDK batman is one example and so is ASM. I just wish they can put the same effort in their other western licenses like Harry Potter, cowboy aliens, etc. (not need on the anime/manga figures, they are way way superior than HT)

hopes HT spidy tops this fig. then we,ll have a great fig ,cause this looks good already.but they are using cloth material for suit. pleather although restrict movements looks better match.:thud:

Wow... horrible :horror

Any bends beyond neutral just look crazy nasty, but the legs take the cake. All the shots of legs bent back for action poses and the whole area, not just the joints look like crumpled condom. It actually seems to pose out worse than their own ASM3 disaster. :(
Its really too bad, because they made the effort to get a nicer looking head out into production, but I have a feeling the suit was just too far gone for a last minute fix. Hope the heads get parted out at a pretty good price though. :yess:

As it stands, I like this better than Hot Toys.
Due to the pvc material they used for the costumes, I can see why its not tight fit to allow movement.

The fit on Hot Toy's costume looks great but the overall figure has a cartoony look for me. Also hate the the damn eyes, while the Medicom is pretty much spot on.
I'm gonna wait and see if Hot Toys end up modifying their current proto. But if it turns out pretty much the same, I'm getting this Medicom. I see more of the Movie Spidey in this figure than Hot Toys.
