Received my Medi Spidey.
Unless there's major changes to Hot Toys version, I'm gonna stick to this guy. The headsculpt is far more accurate on this version than HT.
Love the reflective grated gold eyes, very much accurate to the movie.
The good: As a static, standing figure, it looks great!!! The proportions of the body, the headsculpt, the suit...The medicom looks Awesome!
I want to add also that if you have him under led lighting, it looks great under a little bit of shadows...reason being is that the suit and head looks seamless. Very much like the nightscenes in the movie.
The bad: only looks great when standing, any poses and you start to see the unsightly wrinkles on the suit. Just doesnt look good to me, very distracting.
As mentioned under good, keep it under shadows avoiding very well lit lighting, you do see more of the separation of head and body under very bright lights...I'm referring to the color and texture. But keep it just a tad under the shadows and the head and suit looks seamless.
Very happy with this guy.
I'm still keeping my pre-order on HT version just in case it was tweaked drastically. But Unless HT does major changes to the suit and head, I prefer this Medicom over what HT has shown so far.
