For $103 it's a steal. I love the figure, it's the best Batman I own. I repainted the face and gave him HT's belt, but I honestly think it's the best TDK figure we're going to get. I can't recommend it highly enough.

IMO this is the best batman figure out.. and even when the DX comes out the only thing it has on this figure is the heads... and thats not saying that this head is suclpted badly, infact i think its on par with the DX. but the DX has interchangable mouthpieces which is really cool

I know I shouldn't but I gotten this far down the addiction, what's the point in resisting :( I ordered it and still have DX01, DX02 coming... gonna have way too many bats but I love it! Now I gotto read this thread from the start as well :monkey3 but at least its not 400+pages!

haha, I can totally agree with you. i've all batmans here and pre-ordered also the DX one but my mind says always that there are just too many Batmans in my room, but my heart just say "shut the f.. up" :monkey5

The Medicom one is the best TDK Batman out there at the moment. The DX is cool, but still a disappointment. When they don't update their body I think I'm going to pass on him.

So for 103$ it's a steal. Get him while you can! I too have purchased him from BBTS and I had also some regrets of him, but I'm so glad I've bought him finally. Get him, re-paint the head and it will be an perfect figure!

So what are you waiting anymore? Get him!! :D

haha what makes you think I was able to resist at all?? Lol. I like the HT better out of the box better but this has lots of potential with mods it seems as well. I was merely looking for a cheap method to got the suit for Batman's closet in his cave as in TDK but now I am not so sure. With 3 bats one has to go under the knife :) I suspect if I can get head repainted it would be HT TDK one ;)

too bad i can't show all the textures and the painting masterwork through my cam, but finally i have my medi again :) still have to do a 'vodoun-mod' (repainting the belt and use some carbon decalls for the carbon places) to give him the Hot Toys look.

The repaint from Rismo is so brilliant. It has the textures in it like the John Connor HS from Hot Toys. It looks so real... and with the lou-cape it looks brilliant.

wohooo I just got my medi in he mail from BBTS:chew
Now I just have to dcide to chop it or to mod it and chop the HT down the road :p

It's a real shame neither the HT DX or the Medicom can drop the head as far as that pic on his display.

Thrustmaster, I thought I'd put the figure in the light tent a few days ago to get some proper shots under some good lighting. Trying to go for the Hot Toys look for the first figure and of course with lforigno's short cape as well. The last time I shot it in the tent was with the stock cape. Everything appears a bit glossy/shiny/richer as I have the chrome mode on.

How I love your modifications on the suit. It looks so high-quality and in every way better then Hot Toys! I'm always impressed when I see your beautiful pics and I have to copy your mods on this figure. With those carbon-decals he really looks superb!

I've put now the HT gun on his side. I've bought the figure very cheap with no any other hands and with no gun, so I took now the HT one.
I have to find the right colour for the belt still... is there a special colour you have used for your repaint?
