@ Umair: dont tell me you are getting a MeDix?! Did you score the figs lately or did you already have them :horror

Oh I've had a Medix in the works for 6 months or so - Seb is making it for me :yess:

Vodoun guided me to the decals he used for his, so it will have those decals as well for the kevlar parts :hi5:

Void got any links to the decals and Kevlar parts?

https://www.modelworks.co.uk/decals_carbonfibre.html

BBR decals, code 26

You need to call or email them to place an order

You'll need a bottle of microsol to apply them :)

Just to clear, these are for all the Kevlar armour parts of the TDK suit figure, what I'm having Seb do is put together my Medix then apply these decals to all of the Kevlar parts so the figure had one consistent look

Okay, I'm lost, decals for what? to put on your bat's armour?:dunno

Re: Medicom Dark Knight Batman - Photo Thread

To put on the Kevlar parts of the armour

Reason = if you put a Medix figure together you will have inconsistency in how the Kevlar parts look because the medi and the dx Kevlar parts are very different in their pattern and finish

By applying the decals on all the Kevlar parts, the look will become consistent plus the pattern detail of the decals is much more realistic than the dx or the medi

ahh i see. jeez, no wonder it takes 6 months to put together a medx. i bet it will look mint when done though!

this figure is already really B.A. without any mods. Can't imagine what one looks like with mods in hand.

zomg! I just god my medi Batman. He is awesome in hand. Pics don't do him justice. I don't even know how much I'm going to mod him. Only thing I don't like is the cape.

Re: Medicom Dark Knight Batman - Photo Thread

He's awesome out of the box. The cape is OK if you futz enough with it.

I have a love/hate thing for the cape. The only thing I did with mine is widen the head(really easy mod) because it just looked squished to me. Id like to get his mouth and eyes painted oneday when I get the $ but if not he is still a really cool figure.

Re: Medicom Dark Knight Batman - Photo Thread

Yeah same here. The cape can be really cool at times if your going for a certain look. I've heard about widening the head, but i just dont see a problem with it. Plus, I know if i did widen the head I wouldnt be happy with it cause I would look for me things to mod.

Btw, I see your REALLY close to getting that coat!! Good luck man!
