As a 1/6 scale STAR WARS since 1999, may I please add my humble 2 cents?

I've spent the last 8 years trying to customize high-end SW 12-inch figures, using HASBRO, Kotobukiya, Kaiyodo, ANYTHING 1/6 scale.

We've gone from a dearth of high-end SW stuff to a veritable cornucopia of great merchandise to chose from!

I realize we all have different spending budgets, but I'm personally very happy to have a VARIETY of products to choose from.

Medicom's Maul looked GREAT in person at San Diego, I thought. And he's one Medicom that actually IS in scale to the SS figures; Ray Park is not a giant!

Whee, toys! Let's all play!

Very well put! And my feelings exactly.... Adam is READING my mind...:google

choice makes the hobby so much more personal... taking the best from each company and putting one's own individual spin on each character is what it is all about for me. one cannot win an argument over personal taste so why do we bother?

Why exactly should Medicom suck-up to Sideshow's scale? With the laughably-bad proportions of the Art S. Buck body, scale is the least of my concerns.

I agree, just enjoy the variety without pissing on anyone. :chew:emperor

Your first statement in this thread totally contradicts your last. You're pissing on SS stuff while at the end saying we should all just enjoy then rocking HT and Medicom.

They all kick ass! They all have issues. Buy it and rock this **** with all the great SW items.

Damn I'm so tired of all this bashing. **** people collect and have fun. This is a freaking hobby!

Hey guys,I have a question about the pre order on Friday for Maul. When I go to the SS collectibles site, will I click on the medicom toy link and the link for pre order will be there? I have never pre ordered medicom from SS's site and I don't see anything on their site as of now about the Maul pre order. Thanks

It'll be like any other Priority Pre-Order at Sideshow, at the time of the PPO, you go to their site, there will be a login page with the item photo, once the PPO starts, if you login, you're taking to a product page with the order button and what not, and it's pretty straight forward from there.

unless it's like the gandalf pf on monday where you had to click on the banner to access the order page.

I find the EASIEST way is to go to www.rebelscum.com, and they'll post a direct link to the order page the moment SS puts it up! It's worked for me over a dozen times.

Because then the forums and messages boards would wither and die, and that leads to anarchy. Consider the ancient Egyptians and the Romans. No message boards! And look what happened to THEM...

I have no idea what I'm getting at.

Whee! Toys!

No, no! I think you've got it! You've got it! What is it? Wait, now I'm confused.

Stan: Hey, Token. I think I get it.

Token: You do?

Stan: Yeah. I don't get it.

Token: You get it Stan.

-The End-

I don't think this one is limited so hopefully much like the Stormtrooper figure it will drop to the 100 price point a couple months after it's release.

We’re excited to announce that this figure, priced at $149.99, will be limited to 1000 pieces available at SideshowCollectibles.com!

Does this mean there will only be 1000 total and only available through SS?

I'll pay the $150 for mine. This looks to be one sweet figure, especially from that last shot. Right now I'm planning on using some SSC parts (belt and Sabers) along with a custom head on this guy to make my perfect Maul.

Here's a pic of the head I'll be using (done by Darth Callous):

Or if the Medi head looks good enough in person, I may just save my Callous custom head for my eventual shirtless Maul. :maul

love the Callous Maul! if the Medicom lives up to the proto, you won't be disappointed.
