I think Medi Boba and Jango would have been the same slow sellers if SSC had produced them first like they did Maul. At 1000 pieces it might be a while.

Exactly! With an Inclusive Edition for the Sideshow Maul, and the time it took for both versions to be sold out through Sideshow, I'd say most people that wanted a higher end Maul have it, and like I said before, now it's just down to those with a preference for Medicom or a serious passion for Darth Maul collectibles. I wouldn't be surprised if this took a week or more to sell out.

Hey people, isn't this thread about Medicom Maul? Why does it have to keep going back to a battle between SS & Medicom? This will end up going nowhere - lol! 
Anyways, as a collector and fan of Darth Maul, I'm really looking forward to this figure!
Hey Memnoch21 - most Medicom pieces don't go up in value. Some do (Snake, Blade, Comic Symbiote Spidey, Neo, etc..). But for the most part the stay at the retail price, or go down slightly (maybe $10 - $20) depending on how popular the character is. But in Ghost Riders case, he retailed for $99 @SSC, so he didn't depreciate in your sale (unless you paid more for him somewhere else).

I think one of these day we're all going to realize that you can't compare a $55 dollar doll to a $150 one. One should expect that the one that costs 2-3x more is going to be nicer. Both Medicom and SSC make great products, it's just for two different target audiences.
I wish this thing wasn't so far from shipping, I just really hope it doesn't suffer delays like Boba and Jango did, but I'm guessing that may have to do with the armor. If I recall, Wolverine and Jack Sparrow were right on time, I think Jack even a few weeks early, so hopefully Maul is on time. That'd be cool too cuz it'd make back to back great February acquisitions for me; this year the Jabba set, next year another great Maul collectible.

i'm hoping feb too. but i bet it'll be delayed at least a month. has jango's date been pushed back? i thought he was originally due october. boba was supposed to be may wasn't it? and it's now august right. damn.

Oh, I hadn't paid attention to the SSC posting, last I knew from the Japanese translations it was slated a Feb 08 release; I'll take back to back Sithmas too
