I am a little worried because the seller didn't know whether it was the original or the re release. I've had to swap bodies on two medicom figures due to crumbling/breakage. I hope that this doesn't occur with Mr. Maul...

I hope it's the new one, buddy. If it is, body swap is just optional. I have the 2.0 and I find the body sturdy enough, though like jedijim said, a bit on the skinny side. A little futzing on the robe can make him look thicker, though :)

The twin suns on Tatooine are very bright.

Alas, version 1...
I was posing the upper body and, his right leg just fell off! Why did medicom use such cheap bodies?! Anywho, just used super glue and even though now his leg doesn't move, I still got him in the pose I wanted.

That sucks rib. You can always do a body swap on him if you wanted to be able to pose more than one look. I've got several of the newer medicom bodies that are more durable that might be compatible with the old version 1 maul. Let me know.

Everything should swap over perfectly, although the wrist pegs will have to be shaved down.

The older Medicom wrist pegs are fatter than the newer ones.
