I have a reissue or the second version and since i dint have first one to compare it with i can still say that the body is still very weak. So you are not losing out on anything. The headsculpt is gorgeous though! .. Enjoy the figure!

Thanks Leon. I definitely love this fig. The head sculpt is really killer.

What body did they use for snake eyes? I don't think the medicom outfit would fit on anything bigger than a slim TT. Even though they are played by the same actor.

Just looked it up on eBay. Looks like either a narrow or a regular TT with narrow arms. Pants won't fit around the waist and forearms won't fit into the lower sleeves.

So Jim, could you let me know what types of bodies out there which I could use as substitute this brittle one? I'm not waiting for this to snap before I start searching for a replacement.

So you would only need one of those bodies and a neck connector (bbi 3.0 or something, can't remember) and you would be all set?

You still have to mod the head heavily to get it to connect to a hot toys neck but yes essentially. Refer back to my full mod a few pages back.

My last purchase of 2013 Medicom Darth Maul.
Glad to finally add this to my collection. The head sculpt is real nice!

Nice! Picked him up on the bay a couple weeks ago and was floored. Headsculpt and robe are topnotch and I love the gauntlets/hands. Put some standard black boots on him and now he looks great (only nitpick are his lightsabers, need to get the SS version).

I'm expecting this guy this coming Monday. With Malgus and Vader dropping within the next 30 days, this month looks to be full of sith.
