The first one that springs to mind is the Takara Batman. Even though it's one of the most expensive figures out there at $150+, it is definitely worth that, imho. Just an amazing figure that doesn't seem like a cheap toy in any way. As much as I love Sideshow, Hot Toys and Medicom stuff a lot of times they do come out very toyish (especially Medi)... not so at all with the Takara Batman.
Its a very cool figure but I wasn't blown away by it. I guess I don't think any of the figures I have came out toyish including this one but I wasn't like this is the best figure I've ever bought either. Its very cool though.
I had to futz with the capes on both to make them look right
I did too. Not that I consider futzing a bad thing. Cause I do it with all the figures that come to my house. Its just me masking them look as awesome I'd like.
I should have my Maul according to the tracking on Wednesday. I'm looking forward to getting it but it doesn't appear to be leaps and bounds better. The neck looks really odd to me and something I'll have to see if I can mess with, and his outer robe still looks terrible because of the two different materials.
As far as I'm concerned I will have two great Maul 1:6th scale figures in my collection.
