you guys keep argueing, but all I hear is:

You chase Solo
We drink Ritalin

Precious love is always eating up my heart

Uncheatable her shapely line
A convict of her lithe crime
Save me and wrap around
Bo-oh-no time!
Take the pig and turn around Out of the way!

Back on ground holding scolding the darker side

Mama was burning A hole in my aunt
Please let me down to... HOLD-THE-KETCHUP
Ei-eh-ght Tequilas To feel up my lice
SUB-MAR-INE ...(Burning in hell)
a scandal affair

You chase Solo, Sea-man in my heart tonight
Mysterious mermaid barefoot all alone
We Drink Ritalin, Heres some food I want to eat
Precious love is always eating up my heart

Burning cell phone will stimulate my fantasies
Mysterious mermaid barefoot all alone

WE DRINK RITALIN, Heres some food I want to eat
Precious love is always eating up my heart

Break down with Chiu and me, Get bad with cyber-bee
This song is going nowhere TO BE FOUND
One talk if two are down, Code forever 'nother round
Wanna hear a boring joke in my open mind?

This guy is burning the fire of delight
Fa-a-ancy Cola Through The Night
Hold-u me tight-ry And gra-ab the light
SUB-MAR-INE
Burning in fire, Gather me eyes

You chase Solo, Sea-man in my heart tonight

Mysterious mermaid barefoot all alone
We Drink Ritalin, Heres some food I want to eat
Precious love is always eating up my heart

Burning cell phone will stimulate my fantasies
Mysterious mermaid barefoot all alone

WE DRINK RITALIN, Heres some food I want to eat

atleast, it makes as much senese....:monkey3

the main reason i dont really care for the medi version is that the head appears to be thin. not that there's anything wrong with that but now it looks exactly like some dork i used to know that would hang around with a buddy of mine. i mean exactly like him. if he ever wanted to paint himself up to look like maul this is what he'd look like. so i dont want to be reminded of that chump everytime i see this figure.

Medicom Maul: Too Skinny.

SS Maul: Not mean looking enough.

I know what needs to happen!!!!

I was just going to post his picture!

Sorry coco, to use yours as an example, please forgive me.

It doesn't not look angry no matter how you paint it. Coco did an amazing job, as he pointed the eyes slightly upward like the medicom.. but the sculpt is just not angry enough.. and plus the jaws a bit wide.

here was my attempt.

You're right, eyes alone won't change it, eyes and tattoos define it.

The thing I like about both Maul expressions is he doesn't look totally pissed. There are so many Maul pieces that play the same expression over and over but these two went different routes and both are successful in the attempt IMO.

Sorry MaulFan,and I know we've had our differences, but this version of Maul is crap!

You don't have to be sorry, you can feel how you like, I'm just adding my points of view in regards to the discussion of both figures.

I don't think either figure is crap, but neither is perfect either. I can find flaws and things I'd change on both figures.

Were I looking at buying the Medicom Darth Maul from a casual standpoint, I'd probably see him overpriced and not worth it like many have commented. My situation, he happens to be my most favorite character so I don't analyze him as an investment but simply as someone with a passion for the character. I don't look at his issues and think well for $150 figure this shouldn't be and that shouldn't be, I see the issues as hinderences in the path to really representing the character as I've come to cherrish him from Phantom Menace.

Yeah,I don't buy Medi figures for investment either. They are a bit pricey and not a very good investment at this point.I also just buy them cause I like them.As you know,I don't like most SS figures.I'm very picky when it comes to 12".I heard that Medi Solid Snake had some issues, which I was not pleased with, and therfore he will not be purchased. That is just one example of how I am not biased.I think the Medi Maul looks great,I was going to get him this week but looks like I have to wait one more.:monkey2

As far SS Maul goes.I feel that he's right there next to the Hasbro versions. He should no longer be considered a comparison to any of the newer figures that are coming out.He is outdated

Dude, I have my nitpicks about the SS Maul as well(especially the expression), but comparing it to the Hasbro is just ridiculous. Statements like that make it almost impossible to take you seriously.

Oh, I am serious. You can believe that! You have to understand that I was originally a statue collector. Most SS's 12" figures that have come out up until recently have been toy-ishly non-realistic,and SS Maul falls into that catergory.I do not collect toys! So if a comapny makes a figure that looks like one or that falls short of realism than I'm not buying.

That seems contradictory to me. Medicom figures have their high points, but I don't see anything about them to take them more beyond Hasbro/toy status than a Sideshow figure, especially when Sideshow uses real leather belts and Medicom uses molded plastic plastic.

Go ahead and like what you want, I don't care, but your argument for your POV makes absolutely no sense.
