Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

i have been back and forth on this figure as well. i PO'd then cancelled, but after the new pictures batman looks a whole lot of a better figure and have decided to PO again.

joker is still a pass, too many great figures on the way.

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

I hope they make more comic versions, like a Neal Adams.

Man I hope so...I wouldn't be able to resist a Neal Adams BATMAN!

Does anyone know if Medicom can still make Marvel figures as well...or did they let the License expire? I still like see a Comic Book accurate Spiderman.

I think that license expired years ago. They made a couple of comic based Spider-Man figures. One traditional and one in the black suit. I have the traditional one. I like it. it has a broken leg but, I put it in a stand and you can't tell. Only paid $50 for it a year or so ago.

Cool...maybe I can pick one up on eBay for a decent price.:) Hey, are you the same Captain Trenchcoat from the Mego Musuem? Because I'm "The Bat" over there as well.:wink1:

Yep. That's me too. :hi5:

I think someone in the Action Figure For Sale section here has a comic Spider-Man for sale right now.

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

I see that the Medicom Hush Batman and Joker has been put on their website.
I was hoping for some more details as far as accessories other than various accessories and a stand. They list all of their Real Action Heroes as approx 300mm so there was no definitive height given. It looks like there is an exclusive version with torpedo beans. I have no idea what that is but it reminds me of Blazing Saddles :rotfl

Here is a Google translated version of Batman's description:

That's around $250

I am curious as to what the exclusive 'Torpedo Beans' is though. But it would have to be pretty cool for me to consider getting it for $250, over getting it from BBTS for around $165.

Thanks for posting Alan :D

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

I hope they do Hush and Catwoman, I mean Hush is a must especially if this line is from Batman: Hush which is one of my top 5 batman story arcs. Another one is the new 52 court of owls. I hope medicom or even hot toys makes a Batman from Scott Snyder's Batman

I want somebody to do a 1/6 Damian Wayne Robin. A Talon would be sweet too.

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

After seeing the height comparison for the new Medicom Amazing Spider-Man, I am getting more hopeful that the Medicom Jim Lee Batman will not be short after all.

What the heck is medicom doing, yeah the height might be good for batman to a degree but why is the amazing spiderman 6'6":dunno first they make there figures to short, now they make them to tall, maybe in another 10 years they will get it right:cuckoo: Theres so much wrong with medicom I'm gonna just stop right here:monkey4

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

Is this Batman a US exclusive figure? It's been up for pre order on a bunch of US eTailers for a bit now, but I still don't remember seeing it for pre order on any of the usual Asian eTailers I check.

It's not a US exclusive. I think it was just previewed first in the US due to Diamond (which distributes comics and related items in the US) being the distributor.

I have seen it at Hobby Link Japan
https://www.hlj.com/product/MEDRAH-592
as well other asian etailers.

I can't speak for the rest of the world but for US customers, it makes the most sense to preorder in the US based on the price.

Here is where I preordered mine:

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

the first and my only medicom figure was MGS4 Raiden.
my Raiden suffered from tearing suits because of the glue and easily broken wrist peg. since then, I'm holding myself from buying from them.
anyone familiar with medicom can tell me how their QC lately?
kinda interested with these two actually

HLJ is one of eTailers I check :slap :lol

Strange. A Medicom figure which is more expensive in Asia, than it is in the US. I guess I'll keep my pre order at BBTS :D

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

The old Medicom Spiderman looks to be about the size the Ultimate Spiderman should be if he'd been made. lol
