Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

That just looks terrible, I was considering getting this, but now I'll have to wait to see more in hand pics.

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

everyone has very valid points on this! I did'nt order this because of the price,if it was "CHEAP" enough everyone probably would have ordered it. These companies will get the message when these figures sit on the shelves. By now I have many 1/6 batman figures from Dc & hot toys( I liked the quality & price), its time to be selective with your cash!

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

I wonder if posed the right way, it won't look so bad. I preordered mine with a company that I can't cancel with, so I'm stuck with it. I can always sell it though.

Hopefully one of the many talented custom specialists here will have some opinions on how to fix the body. I wonder what it would look like on the new kaustic heroik body?

It just sucks that you would have to do anything to an already over priced figure!

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

It always looked like crap to me. Why is everyone surprised now?

:dunno

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

I am more disappointed than surprised tbh. I expected a change for the worse, but I liked the pro to pics we previously saw. Boy, the body sucks! :slap

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

I couldn't make it through the whole review. I was SO stoked for this.

Thank you to this site and the Collector Community here for saving me the money!

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

that torso looks truly horrible....it really does. if the designer thinks otherwise then he's in the wrong game. did dc sign off on this?
the mind boggles. mines bought and paid for, im hoping i can rescue this somehow.....

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

A medicom figure that looks terrible. Imagine that.

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

I have one coming and will review it with lots of pics when I get back from vacation next week - I personally think with the right amount of futzing, this will look pretty good - it's not anatomically correct, but it's based on the comic...which isn't really that anatomically correct all the time either.

We'll see once it's in-hand and I shoot some photos - give me 10 days folks...

i hope your right and look forward to your review :)

i also intend to remain positive towards this figure.

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

I still kind of like the overall style and look but that cape...

probably would be hard to get the suit off to pad the torso too...

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

I first thought it was atrocious because of the mid section. Now, I notice the gorilla arms and skinny legs. Just WOW! Anyone trying to fool themselves that this will look better in hand...is just that...fooling themselves. You have a serious addiction you need help with LOL!

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

on the plus side it doesn't look like bale or yet another nolan batman ad nauseum......mines paid for and im sticking with it. it doesn't look much better than an early dc direct 13 effort though in all honesty. im sure i can adjust him into looking half decent in the cabinet.

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

I know...its pretty sad, here I was hoping to finally get a decent 1/6 comic style batman (without having to go the custom figure route as that would cost a lot more)...but at best I'd buy this and STILL had to customize it to make it look decent..
